I would think so, shorter piping will always be better. You would need to move lots of other things to accommodate though...

2014 work in progress
There's a large boxsection under the floor between the shock towers, and the top of the tower has had a strengthening plate welded on top and knitted to the base of the cage. It's not going anywhere.

2014 work in progress
Finished cutting the metal out the rear, had some brackets made for the rad & dry sump tank, and had the cage knitted back into the rear shock towers Before After and test fitted the IC again after emptying the bay, just to make sure I didn't mess something up :)

Ruff engine no umph!
:) yes, the ones held on with the pair of bolts each, but you can just unclip the electrical connector. You should hear the engine note change for each one you unplug (one at a time mind!) if it doesn't change, then that cylinder wasn't doing anything and you can troubleshoot from there

Ruff engine no umph!
have you pulled the coilpack connectors to see how many cylinders it's actually running on?

you need to read some other threads on here... - - - Updated - - - it's actually a poor design, they don't have a fully sealed setup.

Salutations, one and all.
Whatever you go for, you want it to be cheap and cheerful, however boring that sounds. First you need to learn roadcraft and there will be mistakes along the way, we've all been there. Any car will be a revelation in terms of freedom. Once you have some roadcraft, you then want to learn rwd... I'd go with an mx-5 personally

Brake upgrade thoughts.......
they'll fit under most 19's. Beware the disc/caliper offset though as that may push your wheel out out too much to clear the calipers. Again depends on the wheel design. FYI some 18's will fit too ;)

Yes, to move calipers away from the spokes. I bought my brakes from an R34, and they had a nearly flat hat, which was fine for my other wheels. I've moved them back to be more in-line with the Z32 fitment and given myself more space to play with.

2014 work in progress
Spoke to Allan@Bodymech earlier and the car is booked in to sort out the rear qtr in December  Also, now the rear of the car is on the ground, I took the opportunity to re-fit my front brake discs again with the new brake hats which backspace them further inboard. This is what 380mm discs look like behind the Enkei's

Thanks guys, car is now on the ground for the first time in 6 months! Lots of small jobs to crack on with, then a trip to Jimmer's and a bodyshop to sort the rear quarter out
