  1. Those ebay parts seem very cheap, whats the quality like?
  2. No if you watch closely the young lad moved in close squaring up, the comments about how many of us to me says look don't be daft in trying anything you're out number, he tried verbally to send them on their way but they were confrontational in there behaviour but unfortunately didnt have the numbers or the nounce to back it up.
  3. I hate to say it but many british white people have gotten fed up with the way this country is run, and the way immigration has run amok, the government has been far to easy to please immigrants and other religions and it sometimes feels that britain has lost alot of its identity. We have been a very tollerent society towards other cultures and religions but at the end of the day the british citizen doesnt want to felt like a 2nd class citizen in their own country.
  4. I did find it abit odd that nissan designed the non brake light one how they did, if theres no brake light there, why make it look like there is.
  5. Me too, it seems like 90% of whats previously happened will have no bearing on whats about to happen, but on face value it has been a very entertaining series. Last nights was a little surprising did not see that coming at all.
  6. The one with out brake light still has some bits to fill the hole I guess.
  7. Its not the driving its the antisocial behavour that goes with it. Where I live in Mansfield they had a notorious circuit community many years ago that constantly drove round the inner ring road, and a similar ban was enforced, eventually speed cameras, traffic calming and even closing the town centre bewteen certain hours at the week.
  8. Had a look on garrett website and they say that some turbos come with water cooling to help prevent coking after shutdown, nowhere do they mention it aids cooling during driving.
  9. I really wish it did have though, I have the seat right back due to long legs but have to have the seat more upright than is comfortable on long journeys.
  10. The water cooling on these were mainly to prevent heat soak after spirited driving, I guess nissan used these types to increase longevity. Most turbo owners know to drive off boost or let the turbo's idle a few minutes before switch off. If good oil is used and change regularly I can't see a problem I guess the benifit is its much easier to bypass them than to replace them.
  11. I use a little program called snipe it, i think its a firefox plug in. You basically set your maximum bid and the time you want it to bid for you. Can be very handy for if your not around too.
  12. Fully agreed, its one of the main reasons I can't be assed to fix my front speakers, I just love the sound of the vg when in pulls from low down the revs.
  13. have a look here mate, but bear in mind alot of classic insurance means it has to be the 2nd car, I tried it but as mine was a daily they woudnt do it. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=127909&highlight=classic+insurance
  14. Dexron III ATF is the right stuff.
  15. From the FAQ section, http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=123401
  16. A workmate has a GGR 300bhp Focus St and my 20 year old standard auto TT kept up with it from the lights no problem, initially from the lights I had to back off as I got better traction.
  17. unlucky, reminds me of an xr3i I used to own.
  18. Falkens are only £100 for 265 35 18 and are far from utter shite.
  19. I've heard of them but not heard anything regards performance. I chose falken 452's for mine as they are reasonably priced and perform well both wet and dry. If your running more than standard power and do lots of fast road driving I would maybe get something with a proven record.
  20. Next new episode is next week, according to IMDB.com
  21. It would still boost in safety mode but not just the full 9 psi, I think around 7. In a standard auto doing around 40mph or so if you floor it should feel rather quick to say the least.
  22. Had a ride in my mates gto the other week and it kinda felt undewhelming, its a twin turbo but just didnt really do it for me. The cabin is very cramped and the plastics on the dash etc felt very cheap for such an expensive car. The zed just feels much more a quality car and more comfortable up front, however the rear seems slightly better for room as the roof isnt as low.
  23. Went out for a spirited drive in the zed earlier this evening, down some country lanes upto around 70 mph ish, with some hard braking and hard acceleration, rinse and repeat around 6 or 7 times and the brakes were useless. Mine definately need an overhaul, pulled upto some lights around 30mph applied brakes in the normal fashion and nothing happened, when i pulled up and pressed the pedal there was this sort of cracking sound from the calipers, is this what happens when they over heat. Yes all my brakes are old and tired and are getting renewed soon.
  24. anyone know the colour code for the black?
