  1. Great camera these, you're definately going to have to spend more than £150 for anything remotely decent, obviously everyones definition of decent varies, but I wouldnt touch anything other than a canon, panasonic or fuji. Plus points on spending more include better image quality, better low light handling, faster shutter response.
  2. Christ thats ugly. Explosion? Needs nuking from orbit.
  3. £99 delivered for these but only in fronts. The mintex are around £30 for fronts. Ideally i'd just want something close to stock performance but without the stock Nissan prices. My current setup is almost dead, and quite spongy, brake fluid definately needs changing too.
  4. Thats not a major issue, just had cheapo motor factor jobbies last time so anything must be better than those.
  5. Am also looking for some new discs/pads, how did you find the brembos/mintex combo? I'm just looking for normal road use with abit of spirited driving here and there.
  6. Had a big spoiler on the back, you'd have seen me if i'd been a bit ealier, was waiting to join the roundabout.
  7. Saw you go round the roundabout on at the A17 out side the Currys place 2pm ish.
  8. Don't see the point in modding it if it's for sale, your just limiting your potential customers. Plus it will look gash imo.
  9. I just ran than question through ask.com and I think the answer is rather fitting. http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
  10. T-bar roof garnish, if i remember correct.
  11. Yeah mine was done the same, did they put in the newer style gas, as the old is no longer available, they had to use in conversion can in mine, something to do with the oil used.
  12. Had work done at Zedworld and also Z Autos that was in Nottingham, both have done excellent work. A mate has done some basic stuff like radiator and those trick front water hoses. Have done a few bits my self too.
  13. Agreed very good ending and superbly executed.
  14. Oil guage is pressure though not temperature.
  15. Most of these have been answered though The button was to discharge the electromagnetic build up in the energy pocket that the hatch was originally design for, then the "incident" happened and the function of the swan station was to manage the electromagnatism by pushing the button. Jacobs brothers transformation into the smoke monster was shown in a few epsidodes back. More about the others here http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/The_Others The Dharma initiative was explained in the swan orientation film clip, Quote from lostpedia According to various orientation films, the Initiative was founded in 1970 by Gerald and Karen DeGroot, two doctoral candidates at the University of Michigan. It was financially backed by Danish industrialist and munitions magnate Alvar Hanso and his Hanso Foundation. The alleged purpose of the Initiative, according to the Swan Orientation film, was to create "a large-scale communal research compound where scientists and free-thinkers from around the globe could pursue research in meteorology, psychology, parapsychology, zoology, electromagnetism, and Utopian social-[static]." The Barracks video also said that the mission of the Initiative on the Island was to study its unique properties for the betterment of mankind and advancement of world peace. The Sri Lanka Video of The Lost Experience appears to build on the last statement, explaining that the DHARMA Initiative was part of a project begun in response to the Valenzetti Equation commissioned by the UN in 1967, a mathematical formula that reportedly predicts the amount of time until the extinction of mankind. The purpose of the DHARMA Initiative on the Island was to use scientific research to manipulate the environment in order to change any one of the core factors of the Valenzetti Equation which, in turn, would change the Equation's result and thus change mankind's destiny. They were also interested in researching the unique properties on the Island found nowhere else in the world, again for the betterment of humanity. The hurley weight thing was answered by them showing him stashing food they found in the hatch.
  16. Ha ha sorry couldnt refuse a caption competition.
  17. There is but i think is purely voluntary to register your details.
  18. I've found the stock gauge will just sit at half way once up to temp, its not like a real time gauge, if it starts to head north then your over heating as i've found out in the past.
  19. Probably not, given that this last series has kinda answered things but it feels somewhat rushed and last minute. It does seem obvious that they didnt know where things were going from the start, some of the eps such as the jacob one just feel hashed together abit, we still don't know why the island has a light.
  20. Manage to sort it, mechanic did say it was a pain to get a nut on the end. Touch wood it should be fine now. Thanks for the offer Terry.
  21. Yes I think your right Terry, looks like the top bolt. Will pop to the garage tomorrow and let them have a look.
  22. Just had another look and looks like its coming from the power steering pump, the alternator is much lower down. How it didnt mash the belts I don't know.
  23. I seem to have a large bolt sticking out between the ancillary belt, has the alternator bolt worked loose? Will i be able to just tighten it up, i gave it a wiggle and it seems pretty tight.
  24. http://www.300zx.org.uk/mod_comp_0.htm all you need to know here.
  25. It could be a coil pack failing, the wiring, connections and contacts can be brittle or furred up, might be worth giving them a clean up.
