  1. 850 is spot on for a normal idle.
  2. It looks like the worlds smallest caravan being towed by the worlds rustiest trike
  3. my car isnt outside my house, must have been at work found this contraption outside my new work location in Newark though. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?client=firefox-a&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=53.093438,-0.774209&spn=0,359.991841&t=h&z=18&layer=c&cbll=53.094289,-0.777255&panoid=GW3EE8pL2HKyzWLjt6rtQQ&cbp=12,18.52,,0,15.47
  4. Don't buy the swarfega drive cleaner stuff its rubbish.
  5. Very nice car indeed, I think in the future I will have to get either a R32 or R33 GTR, I know the R32 is considered the best for the purist due to being lighter, but that interior just does nothing for me at all, thats one reason I love the Zed so much the interior is like no other car.
  6. mine was off the road for over 3 years, i was skint in no mood for it and almost sold it, i got back on my feet spent a grand on it and it was the best thing I did. Driving it last summer with a shiny new paint job with the targas off put a grin on my face and was the best feeling ever.
  7. All that gear looks really cheap and nasty, that double din looks like something knocked up on blue peter.
  8. Looks nice on the outside but that cabin seems awfully grey and bland. Not what I'd expect from a German car.
  9. Managed to make the existing one fit so all sorted now :)
  10. Well I managed to get the pipes fitted quite easily, but I've removed the metal bar that the old pipes ran through across the plenum but there's a little vacuum pipe that runs to the fuel damper and down towards the fuel filter, obviously i need to get a length of pipe to replace the metal one but is it ok to run the car with it not attached till i can get one?
  11. It can be done with the dash in mine was, but apparently is a bit easier on an auto. I looked at a guide on doing it but decided against doing it my self so got a garage to do it. Heres a guide on the process http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.341
  12. Why did you change your oil cooler, was it causing problems? I guess it's small as it does its job, my car is 20 years old with stock oil cooler and I've never had any oil issues.
  13. Tidy car but I don't think those wheels suit it much, abit to bling and big, don't seem to fit the arches well either.
  14. I too have a rather annoying rattle that sounds like its coming from the glove box, it intermittant and going over bumps makes it rattle. Its kinda like a chirpy plastic rattling noise, do you think this would cure it?
  15. Just over 7 years but it was off the road for around 3 and half years getting resprayed, and going through a skint period.
  16. Just browsing PH and saw this, not seen this type of bumper before it looks familiar but quite can't put my finger on it, I'm thinking mitsi GTO possibly. Would probably look better with out the stuck on side grills.
  17. "new groved front discs still in box" Maybe if these weren't in the box he wouldnt have crashed it
  18. This 350bhp non turbo is worth it for the engine alone :wack: http://pistonheads.com/sales/1531564.htm
  19. Could just be damp in the maf, mine did this when it had been stood for a few months outside.
  20. I know people that take loads of sugar, salt and sauce sachets from restaurants and pubs, but you just spent £10 on a meal!!! A few pence worth of sachets isnt really going to help :confused1:
  21. I've just made 2 lengths of stainless braided rubber fuel hose to replace the ones that run from the battery side to the plenum, when I remove the existing pipes will it spill a small amount of fuel only, or will it keep flooding out? Whats the best way to approach this install?
  22. Really good ep this week.
  23. What size tyres are you after, the Falken 452's are very good performers for the money, I certainly wouldnt touch nexen, linglongs, wanli or fulruns they are ideal for people who don't drive in the wet or ever take it past 3000rpm though.
  24. The front cross member is different i thought? Na has different rad and no intercooler mountings. Someone that knows for sure will pop along no doubt.
