  1. We call it an oddomter round here.
  2. I've never sat in a SWB, when the seat is as far back as it will go upto the rear bulkhead is it the same distance as a LWB from the steering wheel?
  3. From last time we had some a few weeks ago, its much much worse now, the car is stuck out side the house as it just goes sideways from the rear. Saves me going to work tomorrow though.
  4. One reason why you shouldnt use the search function
  5. Can't beat a set of good old fashion weights, get some dumbells and a barbell. Plenty of weight training sites to give you examples of excercises to do depending on the areas you want to focus on. This will build muscle which in turn will burn more calories combined with some cycling or jogging. I always find these machines are bought on impulse and usually end up in the wardrobe or under the stairs only to gather dust.
  6. Looking at that made genuinely made me feel ill.
  7. Really good game, i did both endings but the ending was rather crap imo.
  8. You can replace the heating setup to a series 2 heater control and ecu which gives you directional adjustment, I find that set between 23-25 it does blow out the centre vents until the temp is reached.
  9. As regards the heat, the auto climate was designed by Nissan to give a comfortable cabin temperature, you set the temp and it does the rest. The cabin vents usually operate to get the cabin to a certain temp then return to the feet position. This gives a nice cool head warm feet balance. This was all done with lots of research and I guess most people don't want hot air blasting in their face for long period, thus when the set temp is reached the air is divereted from the face.
  10. I've done these on mine quite a few times pretty straight forward, following AndyGP's write up, you don't have to use long nose pliers if you don't have any, there is enough room to get your hand in (i have big hands and managed it). What you could do is loop the good pipe to bypass the heater matrix so the car is usuable just with no heat till your new pipes arrive. I did this with no prob except for being cold.
  11. I would try and read some reviews on the Netto one before you buy, some of the cheaper sat navs have crap lock times upto 3 mins for some, and are painfully slow at rerouting if you make a wrong turn.
  12. The adjustment is full out, mot mans words were "it sounds like metal on metal"
  13. Would think its for both sides, there a US seller on ebay does patten parts for £50 delivered.
  14. Mine are down to the limit also got an advisory on last mot, they are around £85 from MJP, is it worth looking out for some 2nd hand ones, as you say they don't wear much?
  15. a similar thing happened with the the guy that directed District 9, he made a short film back in 2005 and Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson gave him $30m to make the recently released version. Its great that people with those kinds of talents get to put there visions on the big screen.
  16. Mine was doing this, so i gave the inside glass a good clean with some anti fog glass cleaner and hey presto no more fog.
  17. "Bonnet will need a polish" is understatement of the year.
  18. I'd say these are pretty rare cars in that condition, unmolested and silly kitted. Has some nice mods with out being OTT, other than shows i've seen around 2 this year on the roads.
  19. well cool, would love to see the postman bring that wine rack round for xmas
  20. Some luxo barg nissans by the look of it, not sure what the advantages are, I guess going bigger single turbo maybe.
  21. Adjustable steering wheel would be a god send, i have to have the seat back for my long legs but then have to stretch for the wheel abit. The headlights are dire. A full aerotop as opposed to targas would have look alot nicer. Heated leathers standard.
  22. I picked up a Panasonic FX150 and very happy with it, with an all metal construction it has a nice solid feel to it and its very sharp even in low light.
  23. I think thats a feature, you can rotate the screen 180 degrees.
  24. They use the same bands as the UK networks so should be ok, but only GSM so not ideal for internet usage as quite slow.
