  1. The restraurant scene in dumb & dumber has me in tears everytime I watch it.
  2. Ran mine on magnatec since ive had it no problems at all. No smoke or oil usage.
  3. M5 but running cost are probably more than a zed though, I looked into buying one last year, fantastic car to drive.
  4. Great cars but makes sure its the Sport version, they come with better suspension, seats, steering wheel and bumpers, the SE version look a bit pants imo. Should do between 25-35mpg going by what other owners have said.
  5. yeah that seems to work better on the white, I just wanted to keep the matt look with the wipers/scuttle/roof trims. I still think you gonna be in 2 minds about doing it on yours with it being as pefect a stock car looking as it is. Just something so right about it.
  6. Can't picture it in gloss Si, show me a gloss one and I might be convinced. ps ignore the wipers they are now as new with no shiny bits poking through.
  7. Like any other dating site, 90% desperate blokes 10% divorced been round the clock women.
  8. Must have been abit of a heart breaker to see her go, a true one off zed. Good luck in future pursuits.
  9. Did mine too, looks sooo much better. I think the satin/matt just gives it an edge, i think gloss would just look abit too much, the centre bar and roof rubbers are matt so it just blends in nicely.
  10. Have you tasted dog meat!
  11. Mine used to be on and off when I first got it back on the road after 3 years, but now it behaves itself pretty well. Its probably down to old wiring or gunged up connectors, they can be very tempremental with no set patterns.
  12. haha "photograf kat iz steeling urz limelite"
  13. I don't think any of the convertables in the zed line work that well, I just don't think the proportions carry over from the coupe styling, but there must be a market for it or else they wouldnt make one. But its certainly the best attempt yet.
  14. I actually found the auto in HOLD mode to be very good in the snow when we last had some, seems to control the power nicely for good grip. Good to see so many daily drivers though. I think i've convinced myself to keep it as my daily, rather than get a 2nd car, I'd just miss it too much.
  15. Wikipedia states just over 160k produced and around 17k NSX's were sold.
  16. Well its an auto and mainly start stop town and a couple of miles country side to work again with lots of traffic lights, I did average 26mpg to newquay and back which is good I think. Car should be running ok it was setup at Jeffs at the beginning of the year and runs spot on, I think its just the fact its an auto and the type of journeys I do.
  17. Saw this on another car forum
  18. Not sure if Jeff at Zedworld can disclose information but I know he keeps records of work done. Looks to be in good shape going by the pics but not keen on the front bumper and nose panel.
  19. I think he wants to know whats making the strange whirring noise after its blipped.
  20. I work my fuel out at 30p a mile 70 quid to fill and get around 230 miles. So the extra 150 miles i'll be doing works out at £45 a month times the 25 weeks i drive due to car share is just over £1k I know its not a lot extra, and the car is generally reliable, but we also might be taking a paycut due to a pay restructure. :(
  21. Buy both and you have yourself a TT Manual convertable
  22. So how many of us actually use the zed as a daily drive? Its my only car so I do the daily commute and usual running, probably around 100 miles a week. How ever this will change as my place of work is moving so weekly total will be nearer 250. I drive alternate weeks so it probably gonna cost me an extra £1k a year in fuel alone, not to mention wear and tear on the old girl. I'm thinking of getting a cheap runabout for commuting, but I don't have a drive and parking on my street is limited. If got a cheapy runabout for about £1k I'd save in the long run after a few years or so, I'm not planning on leaving the company for at least 3 years. I don't really mind paying the extra fuel but I'd hate to ruin the car doing that many miles down crappy A roads.
  23. Seems about right I'd say, but alot are put off by the fact its a UK and an auto, the general thinking is that UK models rot badly and that autos are crap. So they tend to fetch less money as people are wary, also bear in mind Stenorths 95 manual TT slicktop only fetched £3000 and these are ment to be the most sort after version. Its really a bad time it would seem for these cars.
