Evo Stick Contact adhesive - Solvent version gets recommended on here quite a lot for interior retrimming.

occasionally lose a cylinder
Usually culprits for this tends to be dodgy wiring either on the coil packs or injectors. Give them a nudge when it's idling to see if one drops out. Not very scientific but I found a dodgy one doing it this way.

New injector loom
Why do these repair kits only have 2 wires for 3 injectors?

digital slr wanted, Need help
A good starter zoom lens is the Sigma 70-300mm but get the APO version, it's quite a bit better, can be picked up for £70-£100 or if your feeling a bit flush the Canon 70-300 is a very good lens for the money £250+ 2nd hand. As regards the camera itself the entry level canons 300d 350d 400d are quite small to hold, fine if you have smallish hands the next size up is the 20d 30d you can get a 20d for about £120-£150 feels much sturdier being a metal bodied camera.

My little baby learned how to laugh :-)
I find that one day a certain thing makes her proper belly laugh, and if you do the same thing next day you just get this blank expression like she's saying what the hell are you doing.

manta 10K?
I wouldnt pay 10p for one but if you like that thing you have to pay the going rate I guess. Still not as bad as ford stuff which is basically junk these days, people get nostalgic and lose all sense of rational. At least with the zed you get decent performance and looks for your outlay.

its the forum's fault
Know what you mean mate, I've had the M5 4 months or so now and the zed was just sitting at a mates garage waiting for a few bits of paint, but I thought sod it and got classic insurance for £170 FC and use it when I don't need the 5, it's been great these last few days with the roofs off blasting around in the sun, a few grand should get you a nice one for the weekend :)

Feeling slightly guilty, i've had to defect.
Small update with some new pics, some decent weather and I got round to giving the new car a bit of TLC Gave it a good rinse off and washed it twice. Then a claying, first time I'd ever done this and I was pleasantly surprised at the results, its so much smoother to the touch. Then a quick polish, really needs a machine polish as it's pretty swirly, but not bad given the 130k plus miles it's done. Then a going over with some poor boys wax. Spent around 6 hours and even though it was all by hand its come up a treat. Anyway on to the pics. Still got the zed stashed away but its not seen any road action for getting on 8 months now :( seems kinda pointless keeping it really, unless I can get a very cheap classic policy, but having two fast cars seems a waste. I need the M5 for the baby seat and car share with 3 others who definately can't squeeze in the zed. Gonna get the few bits of body work done on it, give it a good clean and see how I feel about it then.

Dodgy car seller??
Any car that is "shipped" to the purchaser is dodgy.

Should i give him his money back?
I just had a similar experience, a buyer bought a screen of me for his laptop, but he purchased the wrong one so it wasnt compatible. Yet he threatened me he'd go to ebay and would win as the buyer always wins, even though its his mistake, In the end I refunded him less shipping and fees and we are both now happy. Even though it pains to do it refund him and relist them.

Lost a fellow work colleague today :(
Not the kind of news you ever wish to see, so gutted, was a fantastic guy. Please be careful out there in this really crappy weather we're having in the midlands. http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/news/MAN-DIES-CARS-CRASH-FOG/article-3342190-detail/article.html

530d or 535d?
IMO the the only reason to buy diesel is to save money, so unless you're doing silly miles I would go for 530i its only slightly worse mpg than the 535d but a much more pleasant and refined engine to drive that the diesel. Buying a 53xd won't save money if it goes wrong and the E60 range of cars is quite expensive to maintain as Rich says above any faults with the box or turbos and any savings gained is right out the window.

some pics of the m3

Doesn't really matter where the programs are stored, it won't speed it up being on another drive much, you probably need some more ram, or decrease the amount of startup programs residing in memory to free some ram up.- softmodding
yes i did to mine, mainly so i could run my games from a usb hard drive so much faster loading.- My New Car (Project M3)
Coming on nicely, all that work will definitely be worth the wait. The servicing is pretty eye watering on these though especially the big inspection 2.- Had to laugh when I saw this road the other day
