And a super-uprated elastic band to get more power to the wheels. SMW1 said he'd hook me up with some neons to make my car more fast and furious but I dunno what he woz blingin on about. It's gonna be interesting to see who's gonna bust their autobox first, eh mate? Fas, get a boost upgrade when you're bored with the power and you'll start realising what potential these things have got ;)

The bird on the left was at Trax this year, I'm sure. Anyway, this has all got a bit serious. Max Power is OK for a bit of a laff. I don't buy it (either). But if they're inviting a bunch of 300 owners to do a feature then why not take it as a compliment? Sounds like a good excuse for a get-together. Also might be good for helping evolve a few Saxo boys into real car enthusiasts. I'm not sure the majority of ZX's have what MP readership expects tho - stupid big spoilers, banging sounds systems and neons all over the place... but at least SMW1 will be alright :D Sorry Stu - couldn't resist. I'd happily have a few pics of my car in their rag, with a couple of slappers sitting on the bonnet (holding it down to make it look like there's an engine in there!). Gotta say... if you're using a copied SE chip and it's detting then maybe you should consider booking it in with them and getting it mapped properly. It'll probably cost you less in the long-run (how much are new pistons these days?). If they've supplied the chip then go back there and get them to check it. Blimey, that sounds like I'm really grumpy! Well, what I meant was you're probably better off with a custom map that's running nice rather than something off the shelf.

We had that appear at work. You'll break 400 next time ;) It's just a figure I know, but seeing as it came out top and you still had more setting up that could be done, and a lump that could probably take more boost, it's mighty impressive. Just seems a bit crazy you don't even have a boost controller fitted yet! Your setup is pretty basic (no real gadgets to speak of) but it's obviously been put together right. Kinda restores my faith that mine's gonna work :)

Flux capacitor? Hmm... methinks he was robbed. We all had a good look round his lump and no matter how hard we bashed it with various sized hammers, no secret mods seemed to fall out. Maybe Macca had better check SMW1's photo's... he might find a couple of bits are now missing ;) Cheers Iain - you know they'll be put to good use.

Well apparently "the product is white"... so I don't think it's LSD they're talking about. I wrote an ST demo years ago - wonder if that's still floating around! Last time I checked it didn't work under any ST emulators... which must say something. Nuff respect to guys writing stuff like that now - even if graphics cards are a million times more powerful than an ST, it's still gotta take a heap load of work by some serious Tefal-heads.
