Cheers Pete..... Calling them now.... Well ended up emailing them requesting a breakdown of the charges. They said on the phone that it wasn't them, but HMRC said how much it was? Will see what they and HMRC say next......

I ordered a rucksack for the wife a while back from the US as no longer available here and have had UPS claim they tried to deliver twice...... No card through door and we were in all day.... I contacted UPS to arrange delivery to my work and was told that I owed them £22.79 import duty on a bag costing $61.90 including postage..... £43.90 That's 52% of the cost of the item in Duty...... Anyone know why it is so damn high???? I am now stuck with No chance of refund and I can't have the item unless I pay the extortionate duty...... HELP......

Fitted boost tester in place of the MAF with a croc clip fixed to the back of it then put a smoke match in the clip, it then fills the intake pipes with smoke. Pressure up the system as though you are doing boost leak test and see where the smoke is forced out. Makes it easy to spot a loose hose clip, split pipe, etc... Can't remember who suggested it..... but it showed my small pipe had come off that I couldn't find before doing this....

I used the smoke match technique to fill intake with smoke, pressure tested and find joints where it leaks...... I found a hose completely off under N/S headlight!

By the look of it they aren't sealing, as there is a gap round the speaker. This is not good. You really need to have the speaker sealed into the box. If you make an MDF plate to fit snuggly into the indented bit where the speaker is and then cut a hole in the middle to fit the speaker snuggly into it will sound loads better..... Russ

Well today is stripping the original Transmission day........ Had a look in the overdrive servo and found it full of sludge, so it looks like the frictions have burnt out.... So I have been looking at rebuilding it completely with all new clutches, steels, band, transgo shift kit, upgraded torque converter with a 3500 - 3800 rpm stall, bearings, seals and valve body.... Not a lot to get...... It make take a while to do, but will be fun doing it all..... lol

Typical of our country nowadays....... Especially with all the flooding we seem to be getting lately! 'Short sighted' comment in the Facebook comments was spot on.... Just goes to show the ones holding the purse strings are just....... well....... IDIOTS! Rant over.....
