Well I made the bracket for the Remote Transmission filter today..... from this.... To this.... will be fitting as soon as I get the time.... This is why I hate my iPhone...... lol

Well I am getting a couple of Concept Z , Z1 and lakewood transmission parts whilst on holiday in a few weeks....... unfortunately no room in suitcases for anything big like body panels or I would have brought the bits back for you all.... Getting a full auto tranny rebuild kit and transgo shift kit, hopefully getting a couple of goose honk killers and a pair of Z1 Motorsports Upgraded Adjustable Wastegate Actuators..... I couldn't afford to ship, but suitcase will fit these easily and the wife is ok with it......... yay!!!!!! Just need to figure out tax and duty costs and if I need to declare them?

Well today gave me enough time to fit the cooler in place and mark out the mounting bracket for the remote transmission fluid filter, ready to fabricate tomorrow....... well ready today but my tools are at work... lol Had to pack everything away when it started to hail.......

Hope it is something silly like that and everything else is good...... you deserve some luck for a change.... As you said.... No rush.... take your time and do it right.... I rush and look where that has got me...... lol

Hi Stephen, Is piston from cylinder 4 the same size as the other ones? Could they have changed it at some point and just used one to hand being the wrong size? Only a thought....

Reverse clutch? I believe it is used when the transmission engages the overdrive.... There is a low, high and reverse clutch set in the box. I have the manual for the auto box if you fancy a read about it? Russ

I think if you do go adjustable you need to go quality....... knowing you it will involve loads of research and making sure you get the right ones.......

I will be landing in Florida on 21st March..... 14 days of Family fun in Disney...... with a little bit of Z parts collection while I'm there....... lol If it fits in my suitcase it's coming home with me..... I would love to come and have a drive across the states sometime....... but that will be a while off yet and having a Z keeps you poor...... lol Welcome to the forum Ikon......

Nice going Dan..... looking like you put in some hard work today..... I start getting ready for some paint in april......

Still waiting for the new transmission cooler to arrive after 14 days of waiting for it to actually arrive it's not looking too good..... Not going to start her up till I have cleaned out all the lines and replaced the cooler this time...... I have also bought an external transmission filter to catch anything in the future...... hopefully.....

Speak to 'ted' as he lives that way I believe............?? He may know a good garage round there.....

I guess the cause of the short was with the targa drain running into the dash and soaking the wiring with rain water........?? :whistling:
