  1. OH.... you come down to my area and don't pop in for a coffee and bacon sarnie....... You take our Z's without even a hello........
  2. Yes we do..... lol ROFL..... I love you guy's.....
  3. Seen this on ebay and can't afford it so letting anyone here have a look..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331671863882?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT She looks very clean inside and out......
  4. Hi Gaz, I will take it if I have to..... But making sure I do everything I can to be polite and helpful will only go to show ebay that I have done nothing wrong at all...... and it is winding him up as every email gets more angry and rude.... lol
  5. Yep, made sure it is all through ebay messaging service and bent over backwards to not rise to his comments or recent threats..... lol Latest is threatening to go to ebay complaints as he hadn't had a reply from me within 24 hours.... So I sent him a thank you for being patient and here is your tracking number message as I know me being polite is p***ing him off.... lol I returned it to him by Hermes as I found out royal mail no longer cover anything under their insurance.... I read their list of items not covered and it rules out claiming for anything at all now..... lol I even sent him a nice new bottle of BMW / MINI polish with his return package so he can polish his new spoiler without having to send it to me to do next time.... lol
  6. Well the item arrived back with me and has NO marks in the carbon fibre at all.... no white clouding as I checked under various lighting.... Only thing were greasy finger marks that I polished off with some finishing polish and Mini / BMW oem wax.... now gleaming!! Told the buyer who said "Don't make me out to be stupid! I know how to clean finger prints off, I want a full refund!" I then pointed out that I had photographed the spoiler being as described "superb condition" He then said the panel it is bolted to was not white but cream.... I then pointed out it is BMW "Pepper White", so in fact white and as described and he hadn't asked what white it actually was prior to purchasing it! I then asked if he wanted the spoiler returned to him and if so he agreed to this being the end of the matter? He asked for me to return the spoiler to him again. Now sent it back to him, pointing out it had cost me a further postage cost. I take it that by asking for me to return it to him he is accepting the end of the matter, but not holding my breath! I can see this escalating to an ebay complaint as he changed his mind and is now just trying for a refund after buying it...... Now given up with ebay selling for the moment.....
  7. It all depends on the output wattage of the head unit and your budget??
  8. Nice Nakamichi head unit..... I used to have a full amplified setup years ago..... was given to me by a car dealer when I removed it for him..... free...... lol
  9. how about....http://www.hodgsonrentals.co.uk/page5.html
  10. I will say that the bosses do not like upset customers complaining so other potential customers are put off buying a New BMW... Recently had a disgruntled customer with similar complaint loudly voicing their annoyance at their pride and joy being damaged whilst in dealers care.... Lets just say they calmed the customer by dealing with the problem, taking ownership of the situation and repairing the damage somebody caused.... They hate losing potential customers and usually do the right thing..... if they don't then call BMW UK customer care and ask to speak to the person in charge of the dealerships.....oooppppsss!....accidentally typed this.... BMW UK- managing Directors details....... Mr Graeme Grieve Managing Director Email Graeme.Grieve@bmw.co.uk Telephone 01344 480207 Mobile 07823 536813 Website http://www.bmw.co.uk Postal Address Company Secretary, Summit One, Summit Avenue, Farnborough, Hampshire, United Kingdom, GU14 0FBM Company Number 01378137C Company Status Active (Established 11/07/1978)
  11. Well I am still in the gang....... bloody thing....... lol
  12. I am spending the winter slowly stripping my old transmission to pieces, labelling and photographing as I go.... I am going to attempt to rebuild it with new clutch packs, gaskets, etc.... going to be a mission as I have never rebuilt an auto box..... and doing loads of research now.... Hopefully one day I will know my arse from my elbow.... lol
  13. Hi Art, fitting it isn't too bad.... Suck out fluid com the dipstick tube using vacuum pump, Remove the prop shaft, battery, starter, cooler hard lines disconnected, disconnect wiring harness connectors to box, disconnect the selector rod by removing clip and pin... Undo the bottom cover plate that sits between the engine and the bell housing to access the bolts holding the torque converter to the flywheel.... Then support the box with professional jack using 30cm square flat piece of mdf on top of jack, (so you don't damage the transmission oil pan), undo the bolts holding the torque converter to the flywheel by turning the bottom engine crank bolt with socket and ratchet to get the bolts holding the torque converter to be accessible, undo the rear transmission mount and engine mounts and take the weight of the transmission on the jack, slide the transmission backwards carefully balancing on jack... this needs at least 2 people to steady it and lower it out safely... Before fitting the replacement transmission>>>>>>> Flush the oil cooler and hard lines with brake cleaner, remove the cooler and make sure ALL the crap is out!!! Replacing it is harder.... You need to make sure the torque converter stays in place as it sits on splines with 2 locating slots in it to lock into the oil pump lugs... lift transmission slowly and slide forward locating against engine and flywheel. (lots of small wiggles and height adjustments needed).... Bolt up rear transmission mount, bolt up torque converter bolts by again turning crank by hand, fit engine to bell housing bolts, refit bottom cover, refit starter, refit prop shaft, refit selector pin and wiring, refit oil cooler lines, refit battery, refill with clean fluid.... Hope this helps..... I would give you a hand, but busy for the next few weeks as wife has badly damaged her back.... If I missed anything, I am sure someone will point it out..... lol
  14. Is that because Me and Jason didn't make it Rolandas?....... lol
  15. Not weird at all as i had a smart fortwo for 4 years and it was nippy, extremely cheap to run and easy to park...... I actually loved it once I had driven it for a while..... like a gokart.... lol Easy to service as well, pump oil out through dipstick tube with vacuum pump, plugs are easy as the engine is under the metal cover in boot..... We now have a 2005 Forfour that the wife drives as her first car.... 1.5ltr turbo diesel and it is pretty fast and cheap to run...... cost us £1100 to buy in 2014...
  16. Oh..... I see...... Trying to make me cry........ you cruel LED lighting specialist you...... lol
  17. I would...... But still have no transmission.......
  18. If you want you can use my Z as a guinea pig?? ...... But I wondered if it could be done with black and grey / silver stitching?
