Thanks Jeff, the internal release and outside lock disconnected at the same time...... I will be reconnecting the internal lock as soon as i get back in..... lol I spent a while thinking about where to add power to and I am going to try to jack the car and use the starter motor connection to feed the battery with a charger to power the alarm system so I can open her...... If that doesn't work I shall try the idea you put forward to access the boot..... I will be adding a charger port on the car so I can plug in an external power supply. I just need to find somewhere to fit a waterproof socket, Thinking behind the rear number plate or in/behind the rear bumper.....?? It makes sense so I can just feed 12v into the car whilst off the road and keep the battery topped up and alarm on......

Hi all, my Z has the drivers door lock disconnected, no boot lock and parked with the passenger side up against wall..... The battery has died and alarm of course is dead to unlock drivers door....... Soooooo now I am locked out of the car..... I did have a charger in the car charging the battery but must have knocked the connector off in the boot when I shut it a few weeks ago.... Anyone got any ideas what I can run a 12v feed down to power up car enough to power up alarm and unlock drivers door?? I can only think of the starter, but being so damn low I can't reach it...... ???????????????????????? Cheers

I personally would take it to the parking adjudication panel with the photo's..... At least if someone proves it doesn't stand as a disabled parking bay it should force the council to repaint the lettering and sort out signage...... This will benefit genuinely disabled road users as they will have a well marked bay! Or that is what should happen..... If the council aren't prodded to sort things out they just leave things till they need to fix it, like pot holes and wheel damage claims..... the sad reality of our councils budgets nowadays!

Hi Dave... The funny thing is that the valet was done in my old work ........ BMW dealer and my 10 year old Audi looked better than some of the new bmw's in my opinion..... lol

Well got her a full valet yesterday with a machine polish by a valeter at work and she looks amazing....... 5.5 hours work and only wanted £20.... Gave him £40 as he did a superb job....

Well tell him to get his ass back on here as people have noticed he is missing and was last seen on Facebook watching funny cat video's........ lol

Well it has taken a while to put this up here, but here she is..... 2005 2.0 TFSI Petrol Audi A4 Quattro S-Line with S4 19"wheels, S4 mirrors, S4 twin oval exhaust system, privacy glass, MANUAL.... yes there you have it, I own a manual again.... (Si, Mondo, Stephen, Znut, Gaz).... lol And she is lovely to drive.... quick, smooth and fun...... Yes she needs a clean.... and good polish, and clay bar....lol

I need an NA auto transmission ECU to check if mine is working correctly.....

I actually drove mine to the end of my close and parked her up..... Engine started like a bucket of bolts with loads of missing for about 20 seconds.... then went back to quiet.... Well the auto box seems fine when cold and sat unused for a while! Had to move her off the driveway as tree climbing, chainsaw wielding, fella's due here to cut down our oversized tree tomorrow..... so needed to move her rather than get her damaged by branches being dragged past..... I want her back on the road soooooo much now......

If it were me I would have split what is left of the nut with a sharp flat screwdriver used as a chisel following down between stud and alloy..... if you can split it then it should just wind off the stud..... It's only alloy.......
