  1. I see the steroids have been working out for your legs, but I think you do need to think about exfoliation! :xxx:
  2. erm, erm, erm, I can't ... I'm still running her in!! :D However, you do realise that had that race been over a 1/4 mile, rather than Clarkson's 1/5th .. it my have been a little closer. ;) And no, I'm not going to put my money where my mouth is, 'cos I don't have any left!! Nice try, Shrimpy! CheerZ, JB.
  3. LOL - I see Stu's kindly added me .. but aye from me too ... if I'm still allowed to attend ;) Don't worry I'll park up the other end!! Keep the line of Z32s looking sweet. CheerZ, JB.
  4. Well, I know the orange one's not to everyone's taste, but I kinda liked this one .. I'm particularly taken with the rims!! :hyper: I can see that this is gonna get expensive!!
  5. Thanks guys for the positive feedback ... it's a real pleasure to own and drive. To answer a few specific queries .. Mac, of course I'll let you know *when* a stock Z kicks my butt - let's face it, if we're racing over 1/5 of a mile, it's a done deal, isn't it? ;) Andy, about the handbrake ... didn't even notice until someone of a "larger frame" was in the passenger seat, then it suddenly became obvious. It's still easily to hand though. Peter, don't think I haven't already thought about providing PPS's first 350 to transform, but, for now I'm brassic mate, so it'll have to wait! :( I do have some ideas though .. B19rks .. A show off, moi? Surely not. Cheerz guyz, appreciate it .. JB. :D

    37 years for me too ... :D 7k fine ... I'm innocent guv' .. honest :smw:
  7. Thanks for the feedback guys .... not even any need for fire protection! ;) (Not even my Bad-Mutha-F***in Fish Feeding Suit, Mark!) As I say, I'm gonna post my thoughts on the difference in driving experience, pros and cons etc, once I've clocked up a few more miles, and taken some better piccies (eh, Stu? ;)). For now, suffice it to say, I'm enjoying the car more and more, and she seems to be loosening up a bit, now I've covered a whole 300-odd miles :D CheerZ, JB.
  8. Evening all .. since I've had her since Wednesday, I thought it was high-time I shared a few pics of my new baby. I know it's not the standard fodder for 300zx.co.uk, but I have to say I've now done 300 miles in the car, and I fooking love it!! :hyper: So, here's a few piccies for your delectation, or disgust - whatever takes your fancy, really!! ;) View from the bedroom window! Ray's alloys and brembos Centre Console with sat nav. Anyway, enough for now, suffice it to say I am grinning from ear to ear. Once I've clocked up a few more miles, I'll add my own thoughts to Andy P's excellent write-up on his week spent with the 350 ... For now, all I can say is Woooooooooohooooooooooo!! CheerZ, JB.
  9. I agree with James .. looks sweet mate .. nice one! :hyper: CheerZ, JB.
  10. ROFL .. next time I'll leave those little errors in then .... No-one likes a smart-arse, now, do they? :smw:
  11. Surely, you mean "newest 300", Stu? ;) JB.
  12. Good question, Glynn, it's lying dormant in Birchwood Nissan, awaiting it's PDI (frustration!!!). Awaiting Wednesday pick-up  :hyper: Don't worry, full report (and flame retardant suit) lined up for Wednesday pm .. ;) CheerZ, JB.
  13. LOL - Anybody would think you like the place, Paul!! :D:D:D October, eh? Nice
  14. AFAIK I know the whole deal with the PIAA bulbs is that they only have the equivalent current draw of 55W bulbs, I ran them for a year, no hassle. In fact the only problem that I found was being able to see things approaching more quickly at night  ... Ignorance is bliss, after all. Best mod I ever fitted to my Z .. actually, one of the only ones I ever got round to fitting lol - but that's a whole different story! CheerZ, JB.
  15. Fooking marvellous: "Shower Stalker" ... Doh! :xxx:
  16. Mark, YGM! CheerZ, JB.
  17. I can do, if you want to pay me via PayPal ... we could split the c/card charge I guess (which is fairly light anyhow IIRC). Let me know. CheerZ, JB.
  18. Hello mate - if I'm not too late and you're still interested, I can do you one for £280 delivered. It's one that I bought in a GB some time back for about 340, I think - I've never fitted it, it's still boxed and has instructions from tt.net on how to fit. If you're interested then let me know!! Send me a PM or an e-mail. CheerZ, JB. :D
  19. I know exactly how you feel mate ... somehow, as the new owner drove off down the road in my baby (in the sunshine), I think she looked the best she's ever looked  It's a painful moment, to be sure. I know it was entirely my own fault for my 350 impulse purchase, but really I'd have liked to have kept both :( Didn't stop me feeling sorry for myself. The only thing I can say that has improved since her departure is my stress level; that constant worry that either she was going to break or, worse, some bugger was going to run into her, like my previous Z. It's an odd feeling when you see another Z out and about and then remember that you are z-less ... but I'm sure it'll fade in time. Chin up, Adam ...
  20. Yay .. tenpin bowling .. count me in, if it's after my hols (back 27th). :hyper: CheerZ, JB.
  21. As I mentioned mate, would love to be there, but I can't :( 'cos I'm on holiday!! :hyper: That'll be my last day in Vegas :D .. I'll buy you a birthday beer when I get back, if I've still got any dough, after the tables!!! CheerZ, JB.
  22. I'm always happy to write a bit; even though in this case, I wasn't actually there, but happy to work with someone who was. As an aside, Mark, did that piece ever go in? I know you wanted to take out the bit about the welcome pack (for obvious reasons), but other than that, I thought it was all systems go? CheerZ, JB.
  23. I also have a "Mine's" ECU .. have never looked inside, but if there's a plaque (small, coppery colour), then yes, that's deffo a Mine's ECU. That should mean that you've got a non-standard fuel map, and in *theory*, it should be good for 1 bar of boost. I would be extremely cautious that you're not getting any detting, though, if you are going to upgrade the boost with this chip fitted. Having said that, it should be OK to do so, AFAIK. CheerZ, JB. :D
  24. ... not forgetting John-boy's (John), btw .. I think mine also makes the "really good example" list, wouldn't you agree? ;) CheerZ, JB.
  25. Standard parking manoeuvre, then, Mike? ;) Sorry matey .. someone had to say it .. LOL .. guess I deserve a :slap: CheerZ, JB.
