  1. Good on you Al, Donation made ... I guess you should have asked for £3.00 and I should really have pledged £3.50 - but hey!! :D Won't be able to share in your beer at Billing - going to a wedding  So, I won't be there. Good luck and well done in advance, CheerZ, JB.
  2. Use mine all the time, mainly in an effort to keep the speed down, and still have a bit of fun (i.e. how far can you get without touching the controls etc, etc) ... If I leave it late enough in the morning to leave (pretty attractive prospect this close to redundancy), I can use it all the way along the M20 from north of Maidstone to Swanley most days. My last Z didn't have one either, pretty sure it was only an option on early J-Spec manuals ... missed it tbh. CheerZ, JB.
  3. Alex (sorry to butt in here), But you can get them from Silverfish Performance .. they're based in Kent, nr Ashford. I know cos I picked mine up from there, before I sold 'em to Phil (lucky boy :D). I think they're listed on the dbadiscs.com website. Drop 'em an e-mail (there's a bloke called Tony Mason there), they replied quick when I did. In fact, this is where Wazza got 'em from, despite stories about how his Grandmother hand forged them in outer Mongolia or something. I know, cos when I arrived at Silverfish, they asked me if I knew him!!. HTH ... (sorry for any painful memories). CheerZ, JB.
  4. I am the boss of IT at this site (and the site boss too, now :() We've been running down towards the end for 3 years now .. there was 133 of us here, now there's 10  Not that I didn't surf this site on and off all day anyhow .. but I always found ALT+TAB very useful in the past ..
  5. Don't suppose it would have been southbound on the M20 about 4-5 weeks ago, would it? Only I followed a Black P Reg, and gave it the thumbs up to a fairly confused looking response, lol .. I was in my Jeep at the time .. :D Haven't seen many this new around ... CheerZ, JB.

Coolio ... sounds like a good day-out for a Z meet maybe? Can you hire equipment there? Failing that, I'd love to come along sometime, is it a monthly/weekly thing? CheerZ, JB. :D

Sorry chaps, not for me, this weekend .. go get them Clays, Hugh. BTW, where do you go for that - I enjoy a bit of clay (missing) myself, come complete with me own shooter! :D CheerZ, JB.
  8. Yep, I'd concur with this one - Megadeth were my no.1 fave for a while, particularly liked "Peace Sells" and "So far, so good, so what" .. not so sure about the more recent stuff though. How about Metallica and more lately Slipknot? Good chunky stuff ;). In fact, you've just caught me in the middle of a bit of a heavy-metal renaissance, drove into the sounds of IM's "Live After Death" this morning - definitely my favourite live album of all time. Just felt like sharing it for the metal enlightened. :D CheerZ, JB.
  9. Now, I'm sure we've been round this loop before  I'm sure the question then was: Why *do* you come on here? (albeit on an extended period of absence to allow a little more impact) I'm equally sure that we didn't get an answer last time, nor will we this time .. Believe me, I find it all *highly* amusing, but am still intrigued to know what the point is? If it's just boredom, why not just say? There's no shame in that. Also, why the big "man of mystery" thing? JB.
  10. We don't really get involved with Z31s over here, try Z-club Forum You'll probably have more luck over there. CheerZ, JB.
  11. Blimey! It's Mr Scary ;) ... welcome back!! It's getting just like old times round here ... :rosetint:  CheerZ, JB.
  12. Ditto ... :( Not the same wedding, you understand .. But since I'm an usherette (with me own torch and everything) and we're staying away for it, I won't be there .. too much effort to come up on Sunday aftie for a couple of hours ... Timmy, you should be able to park wherever you like bud (up to 300zx.co.uk), the Z-club aren't organising it this year, although the stands should be together, along with 350zuk, I think. Plus, one or two of us, had a moan about the episode to which you refer last year, cos' it just ain't cricket. I don't know who passed that particular parking law, but snotty/snooty is the last thing I'd call Mr Burns!! lol CheerZ, JB. :(
  13. :hyper: (wait 'til I start modding it, though) :(
  14. In answer to your question, he's now running the workshop at Nissan in Maidstone, Alylesford. Prep'd my 350z in double quick time for me, upon it's arrival :). So, he's still about.
  15. Well, that's your opinion and your entitled to it. It's wrong, of course, but then I would say that, wouldn't I?? :D:D :p I too would enjoy a Noble GTO 3 400R, it is without a shadow of a doubt a fantastic machine, but one or two things do worry me ... 1. It's 56 grand .. which is a fair amount of money by anyone's standards. Although, more importantly: 2. I do think they may have limited their market as there's no back-seat! Look forward to seeing it when you get it though!! CheerZ, JB.
  16. Ahh, but then, somehow the Z32 carries off the body extension nicely, whereas previous Z 2+2s, i.e. 260 and 280 were the ugly sisters. I think the idea was to produce a genuine attempt at a *fairly* uncompromising sports car ... I don't think the 350 shell would look good with an extra bubble, a la RX-8, which IMO is a complete dog's dinner of a car. :D It's also worth remembering that the US (which is their biggest market) has very few (if any, not sure) 2+2 300s, I guess they all have at least one other great big mutha to take the kids around in. Also, Mark, the facts do not bear out the "shoot in the foot" argument. Nissan has sold every 350 it's brought here so far - in fact it's now the most numerous Z incarnation on UK roads, and should you order one today, you'd be lucky to get it this year. Personally, I hope they continue to keep the allocation low!! :hyper: Just a few reasons .... CheerZ, JB.

If you mean, will I have had a miniscule engine, 4 wheel drive and a stylist's comb fitted, and 4 hoops on the front, then NO .. I won't ;). Or, did you mean something else? :D

Well, if you insist .. could be a short-ish visit though, after the excitement I generated for 'er indoors, when I dragged her up to the Z-club AGM last week .. lol :D;) I think I may well be on gardening duties for most of the w/e if the weather's nice!! :D Hang-on, Jock, are we talking about "Henry's Table" in Maidstone, or is that some dodgy new French Bistro in Croydon? Of course, I'd be up for that, being that my *Renault* would be right at home! :nono: CheerZ, JB.
  19. thats where i belong you know :x:
  20. Bugger, Bugger, Bugger ... Gutted I'm gonna miss this - hope there'll be second installment.
  21. OK mate .. you win ... still at least, I'll be safe from Vampires!! CheerZ, JB.
  22. ROFL - as if, moi? - mild mannered me? Not in the least. :) Although, it's a great feeling to be right, you should try it sometime!! :D;) Love you too, mate - good to have you back! Now all we need is Glen to return under (another) alias to restore the *equilibrium* ... how about it mods? ;) CheerZ, JB.
  23. However, in the interest of accuracy (which I'm *sure* we're all bothered about), please read the following, posted by the great beard, Mr F:  and .. from one of those knowledgeable people on 350zuk.com: Nuff 'Z? CheerZ, JB. :D :p
  24. Timmy, FOOK OFF!! :xxx: :D :D (If all else fails, resort to some old fashioned childish abuse). Group buy on frogs' legs?
  25. LOL Timmy ... FFS ... There was me thinking I'd corrected your ignorance in this area ... clearly not. :nono: RENAULT STOLE THE ENGINE FROM NISSAN!!! Is that clear enough? :slap: :D
