  5. Yep, same here, toffee's are the only ones in the tin I eat - maybe Funky's worried about his teeth :D

Not that I'm aware of  but we can all dream!!!! Sorry to hear about your problems Matty, as Athene said these things really do tend to happen for a reason and this'll become the 'turning-point' leading to a bright, happy future. Take care mate, Cheers, Steve and Ned

Hiya, welcome aboard, nice looking zed, obviously cherished  , look forward to seeing it at a meet next year Cheers, Steve

Ireland meet sounds like a stunning idea, convoy through South West and Wales???? :hyper: :hyper:
  9. Jeeez, I know you said she needed a respray, but.......... :nelson: Seriously though, so sorry to see this, but thankfully you're OK, could so easily have been a different story - good job zeds are pretty solid. Fingers crossed Gregs right and it's not too hard to get her put back together again, would be a crying shame to loose one of the nicest zeds around. Not sure that I can be of much help, although I make good tea/coffee, but willing to lend a hand if needs be. Take it easy mate, Cheers, Steve

".......and am bored of having nothing todo in the evenings and at weeknds......" I can think of better things to be doing on a winter evening than working on zeds :D , was going to say you need to get a girlfriend, but overall zeds are probably less trouble(well, easier to fix!!) and cheaper   Seriously though, good to know there's someone in the local area who knows their way around about these cars - you could end up as south centrals answer to the "duffman"!!!! Cheers mate, may well be in touch in the new year, Steve
  11. Our Gaz is full of good idea's :D
  12. Hmmmmm, long story!!! Had to drive her down for MOT - Have converted the J-spec lap-belts to 3-pointers for a baby seat, but not got around to replacing the seat, (got side-tracked re-covering the interior panels and it takes longer than you think) - didn't cross my mind until I got to the garage...that'll be a fail then :nono: didn't even get to give him the keys!!! Gaz has got soooo much to answer for :D lol So seat belts back out, because no seat AND no belts is fine  still eventually she passed :hyper: Rattle seems to have cured itself  just got an oil change and no more noise, very strange. Although having listened to Scottys at the ringwood meet I think it was just a sticky lifter - fingers crossed. So, yes she's OK, but needs some serious TLC - interior re-fitting and MOT gave me advisories on both rear tyres as they are v/close to legal limit, so not driving her too much at moment, but I'm a happy zed owner again :nana2: Cheers m'duck, Steve
  13. Hiya, in a similar position myself, try the "search" option - baby seat brings up all kind of info!! If I remember rightly there's a Britax one that fits the rear seat of the zed, can't remember the model though, sorry. Assume you've already got the 3-point rear belts in yours, had to fit them in mine  All the best, Steve
  14. Was out and about in mine, but not up there....so, not me :D
  15. Sorry mate, I should've stopped to say 'allo but was in a rush to get home - late out of work again!!! I was the nutter in the silly hat :D pedalling across in front of you while you queued to get onto the forecourt, nice looking zed you've got there. Maybe we'll catch up at a South Central meet in the near future, Cheers, Steve
  16. Not easy from a push-bike...especially when they're going the other way :D ............. maybe next time
  17. Hmmmm, could be the same one I posted last week, didn't get any response on here though - not that unusual - so probably not a member, pity as it looked good from where I was standing!!!
  18. .........and I was just about to post having seen 2 reds within 15 mins tonight!!! K reg at Shell station at Rudmore and an L reg at the tax office at Hilsea, although posted that one before with no response. That's 3 different red zeds in Pompey within a week for me, plus this one you've seen......bl**dy popular around here - but not on the site, shame really. Whereabouts in Pompey are you "1stzx" and "Corvetteman"? I'm up in Cosham. Cheers, Steve
  19. Yep, a good day, members from the Emerald Isle, SE, SW.............and not forgetting Isle of Wight (well, it is "overseas" ) all in South Centrals patch   Was good to catch up with all of you, hope you all got home safe and dry..........what am I saying, zeds and rain means wet right legs :headvswal  but not for me today, so special thanks for not taking the p**s out of Neds motor!! Thanks to Matty for organising it all, Cheers all, Steve and Ned
  20. Nooooooooooooooo, not yet, end of January'ish - just that we now know, well 99%, that it's a girl.....with very long legs and apparently she knows how to use them!!!!!!! and despite the size of the "bump" it IS only one!!!!!! Appreciate the thoughts though, Cheers, Steve and Ned
  21. 15. Moby and Ned(Sunday Roast only) Looking OK for us at the minute although we won't get to the pub much before mid-day, hopefully all the hangovers will be improving by then!! Have a good night tomorrow :duffer: sorry we can't be there Cheers, Steve, Ned and daughter "bump"
  22. Approx 5.15 this evening - Thursday, looked a goody, larger than 'normal' silver alloys...........possibly ("on") 19's!!!!! Certainly not one of the usual zeds around this part of the World!!
  23. Received yesterday, many thanks to all involved in the production etc Good job by all concerned
  24. Have a great day matey :duffer: Cheers, Steve and Ned
  25. No good for Gaz, the roll-neck would cover it up  Seriously though, I know what you mean Gaz, feel much the same way myself most of the time and if truth be known you'll probably find that most people - even the super confident ones - have doubts every now and then. Car meets can be daunting, especially first time 'round, 'coz everyone seems to know everyone else and appear more knowledgeable I tend to just say Hi and head for the bar!!! and then wander around trying small talk to break the ice. Have to say you and Caz made me and Ned feel welcome at our first meet and I'd never have known you had these concerns. Hope to see you for the S. Central Christmas bash as I owe you a 'special :duffer: becks', but, if we're going to be there it'll be for the Sunday Roast. Cheers Mate, Steve
