Rear Seat Belts
Yes, the bolt holes are behind the quarter light panels and seat side panels, you can replace the panels as "Funki" says but I just drilled the holes in the quarter light panel(it's 'marked' on the back for the position of the hole) and filed the top edge of the seat-side panel down so that the belt runs smoothly between the joints. Took me a couple of hours to do the conversion, hardest bit was removing the tail-gate struts - get help 'cos it's heavy!!!!! Only other advice is make sure you get both parts of the 3-point belt as the buckle on the lap belt is slightly different and doesn't always lock securely. Have fun, Steve

Baby Seat that fits!
I've given up trying to fit a rear-facing seat, did the 3-point belt conversion, along with filling a bin bag with expanding foam , but despite all of this the belt is just too f***ing short!!!!!! Have tried loads of different one's, even the girl in the baby shop admitted defeat!!!!! Zeds an import so the front seats not an option either 'cos the belts are in the door. As daughter is now over 5 months I don't see the point in spending out on a new rear-facing seat - I'll wait until she's big enough for a forward-facing one. Nice to know that others have had some success

just renewed
Thanks for the reminder, time flys when you're having fun ..............;) payment sent via paypal. cheers, Steve

Possible dates for July Monthly Meet
Sorry boys and girls, can't make any of these dates - family commitments in Teeside first week-end and christenings on the second one. Have a good one:duffer: or two for me, Cheers, Steve

A couple of quick reminders:
I know money is tight for most, BUT please do not feel that you HAVE to bring your zed to any meet. Its as much about the people as it is the cars ;) OK, push-bikes at the ready:D

Bridgemary
Could be the same one I saw on Friday going towards Gosport in rush-hour. If so, hasn't replied to my post, so suspect not "one of us" - doesn't know what they're missing:D

red, Fareham, last night
Hiya, all's well thanks, hard to believe she's 5 months old but to be honest she's been no trouble at all. Ned's already giving me grief about the "next one", keep trying to point out that we'll never be as lucky next time around, so we should quit while we're ahead, but she's not having any of it!! How's things with you - I see you're spending money on your 'baby' - new clutch etc should keep you out of mischief for a week-end or two!! Cheers, Steve
-
red, Fareham, last night
6 pm, stuck in the Friday evening crawl into Fareham/Gosport - only caught a glimpse of your rear-end:x: as I was some way behind you, took me an hour and a half to get from Cosham to Gosport:rant:!!

Rear Seat Belts
Yep, I used 3 x 2 .......... was safer than getting the Missus to support it:rofl:

Rear Seat Belts
Make sure you buy both parts of the three point belts, don't just get the top part and keep the Jap buckle section that comes up through the seat. The UK one is different and, whilst they do fit, they don't lock properly and could come apart in an accident. Not a hard job to do, awkward bit is disconnecting the gas struts, you'll either need help or, if not, make sure you support the tailgate before releasing it. Have fun, Cheers, Steve

Did say it was unlikely I'd make that, saw the weather and decided it unwise to risk my 3 month old daughter getting drenched!!! Looks like a good show though - hope to catch up with everyone soon, Cheers, Steve

April Monthly Meet: Sunday 27th Jap Performance Sunday
Am in Pompey, but still not looking to good for me:cry: However, if I do convince the 'Missus' to go we'll be in the "lean, mean green machine" - nope, no zed baby seat so it's the Micra again!!! At this rate it'll have done more SC meets than "Betty":x: Anyway, back to the question, we'll be even slower than normal - not called "Tail-end Charlie" for nowt - so best if we meet up at the monument. Fingers crossed, would be good to meet up at what sounds like being a good day. Cheers, Steve
