Dorset Japanese Car Show: Sunday 2nd August 2009
Was hoping to make this one, but had a feeling we were due for a trip to the in-laws, so guess where I'm off to for the next week:o - sorry folks, I know where I'd prefer to be (not Teeside) but yet another zed event falls foul of "family" If it's as good as it sounds I'm sure you'll all have a great day, hoefully the sun'll come out to play as well. Cheers, Steve

things that should never be done to a zed
- TOP GEAR - The one wev'e been waiting for!
Am sure I saw a '300zx.co.uk' sticker on it, so would guess someone was cringing everytime hampster bumped the 944 .............. will forgive him for the drum kit:D- White, Emsworth
heading west on A27, only got a glimpse as I was heading off the eastbound slip road- just renewed
hiya, thanks for the reminder, doesn't time fly when you're working your ar*e off:( Just renewed via paypal, Cheers, Steve- smoke from engine bay
Had something sililar, small amount of smoke coming up from between rear of engine and bulkhead on nearside, was a very small oil leak from rocker cover running onto exhaust, mechanic tightened it all up and, touch wood, no probs since. Like you say smoke was only visible if the light 'caught it' which makes it awkward to tell what colour it is. Just a thought,- F40 Detail
Must be nice to have an F-40 as a "regular drive"- Question for Grey Z owners
What's left of mine is more of a dirty cream colour (apart from the green tape holding it together!!) ............ which is why it's being replaced very soon:hyper:- lowering (realistic) options
Got those on mine, can't lower as it only just clears the ramp into my drive by about 1/4 inch:eek:- white H reg, Port Solent
coming out of Port Solent, Portsmouth, lunchtime today, lady driver and young girl passenger, headed off for Portchester - nice looking zed, alloys and '99' rear spoiler - another one to add to the Pompey zed list:D- yellow pearl IOW nr bembry parked outside cool house
Was thinking Groover, but I think his has different wheels - popular colour for such a small Island:D- red vert, M40, Saturday
First time was 28th March and second was 25th. April - looked like the same one, although didn't get a good look the either time so possibly coincidence, still at least one's on here:dance: Mind you, if you're from Horsham you were further afield than me!!!- red vert, M40, Saturday
Same car, same time, same place going the same direction yesterday, didn't get anything from the last post, so guess not a member:(- Whats wrong here then, tech game
Phew, not mine then ............ had me worried- Does any other Nissan use our oil pressure sender?
would have to admit mine has always done it, but never worried too much as I've been warned about the gauges!! Plan to fit after market water temp, oil pessure and poss oil temp one day, only been saying that for six years ....... but, one day!!!- Sunday (near southampton) Service H426 ***
Sounds like '1stzx' only black body/white bonnet zed I know - although can't imagine why a Pompey lad would be seen anywhere near Southampton, unless he was escaping :D- red vert, M40, Saturday
spotted heading north, just past j.15 lunchtime Saturday - sunny day and you still had the roof up!!!!!! I was on the other carriageway in a Renault, having just left 'my girl' in Jeff's loving care at Zedworld.- Anyone familiar with Meta M99T Alarm?
Aaah, ok, as you say it's got to be worth a call. I've just found another leaflet with 'Metasystems UK' address on it - Oakmoore Court, Kingswood Rd, Hampton Lovett, Droitwich WR9 0QH - 01905 791 700, e-mail: info@metasystem.co.uk. Again, bear in mind that's got to be 6 years old as well - ho hum, nothings ever easy:headvswal- scotty
Must have been the embalming fluid then!!! Thanks for posting this Gaz, all the best for a speedy recovery Scotty, am sure your 'missus' will look after you - hopefully once you've got over this you'll be free from the headaches etc. Take care matey, Steve, Ned and Zhale- Anyone familiar with Meta M99T Alarm?
Hiya, well, I've found the limited instruction sheet I got when mine was fitted, will try to attach it to this post - no promises!!! It was fitted by a company called Stirling Ice in Portsmouth, 02392 876616, about 6 years ago. They're still in the phone book so might be worth a ring. Hope this helps, good luck, cheers Steve- Anyone familiar with Meta M99T Alarm?
Will see if I've got any info on mine when I get home, mine was fitted a couple of years back by a local company, but they might be able advise over the phone, again I'll check for their number as well. cheers, Steve- Anyone familiar with Meta M99T Alarm?
mines bolted onto the top of the off-side arch, in front of the suspension mount, just behind the headlight (bear in mind that mine is an N/A so a little bit more space to play with!!!! - it doesn't look like a siren/horn -just a black box approx 3" x 3" x 3". Not sure that will help as I'd guess each installer works differently, so good luck- G*** BBK, Portsmouth 5.30'ish
Burgandy red with a 'standard' silver spoiler:confused:, in rush hour traffic going out of central Pompey tonight. I was the 'dodgy' cyclist trying to look over my shoulder at you whilst avoiding the dockyard wall - not easy as I can't even keep the thing straight when I'm looking in the right direction:eek: - TOP GEAR - The one wev'e been waiting for!
