  1. Ahhhh, but if it was a "shortie" instead of an "estate"................ Yeah, yeah, I know ......:slap:
  2. I've got a '92 N/A and get around 400 to a tank on a decent m/way trip so somethings definitely wrong - possibly a leak somewhere.
  3. Sorry to hear about your zed, but thanks for the "heads-up" about this though, my 'girl' sits on the drive for weeks on end so I'll be checking that asap - along with the fuel pump fuse!!! All the best with sorting things out, Cheers, Steve
  4. :slap: That would make Ned very happy, but I'm afraid it's very much part of my long term plans for "Betty" - not sure about the rest, wanted Stillen sides, but almost choked when Mike told me the price  Aaaah, plans and more plans - but Ned now uses Zhale as an excuse to keep spending my money!!!!
  5. Several of the US zeds that Funki has posted look great and there are some great looking zeds on this site - Funki's included, but my all-time favourite has got to be Jay's "shortie", simply gorgeous!!!
  6. that's where I got mine from - nowhere near £400, althought it was before the exchange rates went tits-up ..... might get it fitted this year, along with several other bits and pieces that Neds not impressed about:x:!!!
  7. Hmmm, strange 'cos Andy's zed definitely looks RED to me, you begining to change your preferences Joely:D:rofl:
  8. moby replied to nickz32's topic in Events - UK
Sorry to hear this - REO isn't something I'm brave enough to consider doing, so thanks for all your efforts. Was good to meet up with you at Goodwood/Tangmere and am sure we'll catch up at another meet next year, hope the "significant events" sort themselves out soon, all the best, Steve
  9. Seen one that matches the description several times - had a red spoiler last time I saw it though - nice looking zed, have posted it with no reply, so don't think she's "with us"!!!!!!!
  10. Have to agree, thought Goodwood was great - despite the cost of the food!!! Don't think there were many Jap cars missing and some of the oldies were in amazing condition considering the reputation the early ones had for rusting. Although I hadn't realised how many NSX's there are around, common as muck - 300's much more exclusive:tongue: Pity they couldn't arrange for all 300's to be together, maybe next time!! Don't know when they start again, but hope to go on a regular basis, especially as Ned enjoyed it.
  11. Only caught a glimpse as I was avoiding walkers on cycle path:headvswal Nice looking black zed with polished rims/black centres, single exit exhausts either side - nice subtle growl with standard rear lights - first thought was Marco, but too quiet:D
  12. Told us the one that messed it up for all of us was a white one - guess it was the woman on the push-bike that complained at someone almost hitting her and her child over :nono: - all that space to play in, ah well, shame to end a good morning like that. Nice to meet some new members, finally put faces to some names - hope to meet up again soon. Also discovered I've got competition for driving the zed:shock:
  13. Good for you, always found Jeff and Jamie to be top blokes!! so we'll be seeing you tomorrow then ............. or are two early mornings too much in one weekend lol???
  14. Wow, I wasn't the only one getting strange looks from the neighbours then, must admit felt a right pratt:( and as she's on the drive, it'll have had no real effect by morning, but at least we tried:D See you tomorrow, suspect I'll be on my own as Ned will never get up that early if it's raining!!!
  15. hope you're right, but I won't be getting up even earlier tomorrow to give her a wash down, I'll just accept the prize for grubbiest zed:hyper: See you in the morning lads and lasses
  16. OK, rains come early - no awards for cleanest zed for my girl tomorrow:cry:
  17. yep, guess I'd best wash the 'ol'girl' down on Saturday - probably means it'll p*** it down Sunday though, sorry!!!!

  19. Queuing sounds about right for Pompey:(, I live in Cosham but it's far quicker to cycle in and out of town - cheaper too!!!
  20. Yep, that'll be me ...... "afterburner rear lights" work at the Uni, don't normally drive in but need to run her to check if we've cured the mis-fire of many weeks ago. assume you were in the 'works' motor, am sure I'd have noticed you in your zed:D
  21. Cheers mate, he's making slow, but good, progress, am now back home for work in the morning:headvswal Looks like I missed a fun day, oh well, next time. Glad you had fun, cool pix. Nick, best wishes for you and your Dad. Cheers, Steve. Ned and Zhale
  22. hi all, still up on Teeside - week didn't work out as planned, Ned's grandfather was taken seriously ill ten days ago and, following 2 operations (they removed his leg yesterday!!), is still in "critical care" ward - but is now steadily improving. However, we're not going to be able to get back in time for the photo shoot. Hope it goes well, gutted that we won't be there, but such is life. Hopefully catch you all soon, cheers, Steve, Ned and Zhale
