The underside is pretty clean, I think the drivers side tower has had an average repair at some point but currently is ok, the other side looks like it might have an issue brewing but it’s certainly not bad and can wait for a few years. It’s on my radar. Boot is clean of rust too. It had a respray last year in a Mercedes’ black so paint looks really good at the moment. The last owner has had it for 3 years and drove 2000 miles a year in it I think, it’s only had 3 owners since it was imported in 2005 so imagine it’s spent some time in a garage. He bought it off a guy in Bristol who had problems with it starting but it turned out to be the immobiliser which was stripped out. Interior is really good nick, couple of trim bits needing replacing but the seats and carpets are in really good nick, it’s so comfortable! Im properly excited about owning this car. I’m getting the wheels sorted ASAP and I’m not a fan of the wing will be selling that and going for more of a lower, sleeker look spoiler.

Hi everyone, I’ve finally got myself a Zed! Very happy with it, drove it 90 miles home and it didn’t miss a beat! It’s not immaculate and will need some bits but it runs nicely, drive great and has an MOT! ? I think I might do a member journal about it as I have some plans, nothing ground breaking, but I want to make sure this car is looked after. Currently on about 90k but 70k of that is KM. It didn’t come with any history so I’m doing it properly and taking it down to Jimmer for a full belts service and a good going over to see what I’ve actually bought!

Afternoon, I know the R33 brakes fit the 300zx, are they much bigger than the 300zx standard callipers? Im buying a set tomorrow to get better clearance for a new set of wheels (currently got Evo 8 Brembos and discs on), but don’t want to spend all the money only to find they are too big as well.

Have you spoken to Z1 as to whether they would allow anyone else to ship their stuff? I looked at the two spoilers I like and it’s about £1k all in to get them. Seems mad for two body items but I can’t find any other dealers (besides Z Centre) who can provide any

They look great, what wheels you got?

I’m looking at some Works wheels but not sure if they’d fit. They are an 18x9.5 with an offset of ET20 if got some bog Evo 8 callipers on the front which would need some clearance. can anyone advise? I’m not brilliant with wheel setups

Besides Z Centre, are there any other UK supplies of aftermarket parts, primarily spoilers that people use? Or is it imports only? I want a new spoiler as I don't like one on the car but fancy something a bit different to the ones on Z Centre. Thanks

Collecting it on Wednesday evening so will get some nice ones and put them up on Thursday. Already been parts shopping and ordered the 99 spec rear lights and centre panel. Wheels and tyres are next on the list

Hi, I have just bought my first 300zx, picking it up Wednesday hopefully! The previous owner has installed a larger set of discs to the front as well as some Brembo calipers from an Evo 8. They are pretty good, however I am looking at getting some new wheels and want to make sure I have got some decent clearance so I can get a somewhat deepdish. Is it worth me going back to standard discs and calipers or is there a decent upgrade that I can do that would still give me good clearance for wheels? Thanks,

Around the corner from me is a company called Torqen who sell parts for lots JDM cars but seem to specialise in Z’s! On 17th July they are having a meet, previously there’s been loads of 350’s and 370’s so wondering if anyone wants to come and represent with some 300’s!

They’ve got an R33 GTR on there and they reckon you can import on for $20,000! I’d rip your arm off for that. Easily £35,000 cheapest these days.

That’s interesting! They’ve got a few up, I assume these are sat in a dock in Japan and they allow customers to buy directly and they ship out? So would have import tax etc on top of that?

Spoken to DCY, they’ve said £20k and no shipping till June anyway!

I am struggling to even find them for sale in the UK. Guess everyone is holding on to them as the values go up. I use Google, Facebook marketplace, Facebook groups, obviously the owners club here, auto trader, eBay and gumtree but they just aren’t there. anywhere I’m missing that would be worth looking at? Plenty of autos and NA’s going cheap though.
