  1. if you look here all is explained. The sender should be screwed straight into where the blank plug was on the filter tree.it does fit,ive done it.if you look at the pics youll make out the sender.http://www.z1motorsports.com/imageGallery/main.php?g2_itemId=79592
  2. It does go in matey, done this loads of times.unscrew the blank plug and in she will go,the wiring plug is tight but it does go(youll need to extend the wiring of course) .
  3. http://www.porntube,com/ this is one close to me,its a porridge gun shooting range.Youll never tire of this, takes 24 hours to build a good "head of ammo" and the targets vary daily.
  4. Like Columbo, has Jeff got a dirty mac he wears when hes fathoming out these problems  fair shout for sorting that one Jeff.Bet your chuffed Tony to get the green machine flying again.
  5. Quite a task matey, you would need extensive pullers, circlip pliers of varying sizes etc.not an easy job im afraid.
  6. Tbh you wont really notice a difference. The fmic will allow air flow anyway so i wouldnt worry about it.I had a vented nose panel and tired of it,smooth is where its at and i have to say i have not noticed any difference in cars running temps.
  7. THe chances of the oil level causing just 2nd gear to grind is remote to say the least.A syncro in a gearbox which is what is used to slow the gear down to allow engagement is designed to disperse oil,so a lack of it wont be a problem. Its probaly the syncro tbh.
  8. No mate,i cant lie.Mine is grey though and stock looking with rare jap rims on it.
  9. Would Jeffs chip disable the speed limiter?,positively yes mate :scooter:
  10. Yeah that and his liquid gold insect repellant ointment to soothe and relax !!
  11. Christ !! i hope whoever it is they dont sleep face down :whistling::pinch::lol:
  12. plug the faulty sensor into the known good side, iirc it does reach just about.if the fault shows on the opposite side you know its the sensor.Fit an oem sensor and not an e bay one cus they are rubbish. The drivers side is plugged in on the side of the plenum on the tin bracket, the passenger is plugged in usually at the rear of the plenum on a bracket behind the black balance bar that straddles the plenum. The sensors have three wires at the plug so that narrows it down.A red wire,a black one and a white wire should be present.hth.
  13. It doesnt matter how free they move as long as there isnt play, all joints, track rod ends etc are stiff when new and free up after use.dont panic they are prolly fine.
  14. Grooverider !! that takes me back, hes from Gloucester, last i heard he got put in jail in the far east after trying to leave the country with some percy puff the ****.That was about three years ago iirc.
  15. They are great cars and pretty reliable. They can suffer with gearbox problems in the earlier models. They can be a little thirsty as has already been said also, the parts prices are shocking tbh Bri,i knew someone who had a mini one and the rear section of the exhaust rotted out and Mini wanted £350 for the part, thats the rear section not the whole system  But id say buy away mate they are not nailed together like Austins effort.
  16. Wow matey thats tidy.looking forward to seeing that in the flesh.Bet you felt like a young un again driving that, play any house music did you on the way back :cool2:
  17. He text me earlier,he has the eccy, watch this space :tt1:
  18. yeah those ****s,they forgot that the metal in there bike was mined by machines with engines and the rubber in the tyres was shipped over by a boat with a huge oil burning engine and the ****ers dont work and think anyone with money is spoon fed and should spread their wealth to subsidise them.We got loads in Bristol. The great unwashed i call em.
  19. IIrc kits were available years ago for those,Youll have to get the garage to get some pipes and hoses.Speak to AnthonyD on here for the hoses and get a stainless steel exhaust place to make the pipes. You could first make them out of plastic pipe to get the angles right then use them for patterns.Sounds like the garage isnt really trying to hard to get the work done though. And get them to heatwrap those manifolds too.
  20. Wrap it up for Christmas mate,go on spoil her.Be a right laugh seeing her face as the paper comes off
  21. Prolly soap dodging sandal wearers did that, the ****s :censored:
  22. You managed to get a job after that drinking on the job dismissal at the sperm bank ?? fair shout mate
  23. Id say get another garage to check tracking and the problem you have is usually sagging front springs causing a lot of negative camber.A proper check should prove this.
  24. Nissan techies cant fit a belt and get some marks lined up so tried to adjust the error out using the cas perhaps Jeff ? wouldnt be the first time youve come across that one i bet :whistling:
  25. Ive had quite a few dealings with pk6 boxes in lagunas and master vans, basically the syncro has gone mate or a bearing has let go causing excessive endfloat. The box is quite a fiddle to get out.You have to lower the crossmember the steering rack sits on really to get it out.The pk6 is quite a weak box and well known for failure. The newer pf6 box is better but still has its problems. The box is easy to strip too.
