Has the flywheel been skimmed at all, seen some skimmed flat which reduces the covers clamping force.

Rare Alfa
I found this on e bay, rare old car this,i remember seeing one at the Brum motor show in the 90,s.It was really out there when it came out.Be a nice investment for someone.Id hate to try and get parts for it though. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180725097141&category=9834&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619

Zedworld chip fitted today
Thats some nice figures but id be amazed if the car made 440ftlb or torque on a stage one chip.Im not saying your lying but the dyno is reading way to high a torque reading so id take that with a pinch of salt imho.Ive spent thousands on my engine and not made that amount of torque.417 ft lb is the best i could make with a custom map !!

Rough idea of cost to repair?
They are only good for sunken panels not proper dents or creases. The only fix then is a stud puller as mentioned.

classic muscle cars
Hemi cuda, dodge challenger or a plymouth roadrunner perhaps, all classic v8 power houses.Or maybe a Cadillac fleetwood Brougham.8.2 Liters.very good in London traffic Lol

Standard turbos + big injectors etc question?
THe main problem with small tubs is heat soak, once you really start to wind them up the charge temps soar,i know you have side mounts but you will find them very limiting, those tiny impellers will run out of puff very quickly.Ignore what the yanks say, there figures are tongue in cheek to say the least.A stock tubs life will shorten massively once you start running 15psi + also.

classic muscle cars
Everyday car and v8 equals vxr8 or a cl 63,not classic yet but will scratch your v8 itch for sure.

Head bolt removal
Its probaly poor engine hygiene, left from the last car it came off or metal that was left in the oil cooler after a failure.

Head bolt removal
Pending approval,do they really think that "specialist" has enough money to sue someone then,i doubt it.How long has that engine ran for ? those pistons look rather black.
-
Head bolt removal
Glad they worked mate, knew they would.Ive got a bluepoint set and they are mustard for rounded bolts. That engine has stock gaskets !!are the pistons new ?
-
MOT at 4pm
Cracking tyres ? unless its got a lump, buldge or tear causing seperation or lifting of the tread thats not a fail.If the cords are exposed its a fail but if not an Advisory only.Loads of cars have cracked tyres especially womes i used to find cus tthey dont drive hard enough to wear them out.
-
Head bolt removal
failing that these will budge them, ive got a bluepoint set the same and they are the *****x,hammer them on for a good grip http://www.my-tool-shed.co.uk/m102/Irwin/Mechanics_Tools/f2349/index.html

Rebuilt New Donor Engine... Advice needed.
Looking at the pistons and bores im not being horrid mate but id be amazed if that had done only 25k !!
-
Question?
This thread Lol,its a true testament to an old saying, start with the basics first
-
New Rad needed?
Little tip for anyone, always undo the rad pipe where it meets the engine or this can happen. Its quite common for this to happen when that end of the hose is disturbed.
-
Rebuilt New Donor Engine... Advice needed.
With the mods youve done custom mapping would be a bit overkill.A generic chip would be fine.Did you not consider putting new rings in and bearings whilst it was apart ?
-
Front 2 injectors not working???
To check the injectors in situ, take the spark plugs out on the offending cylinders, hook up a 9v battery to the injector, you,ll see the fuel spraying into the cylinder, dont use a candle to see though Lol.

Relocating the stock oil pressure sender
if you look here all is explained. The sender should be screwed straight into where the blank plug was on the filter tree.it does fit,ive done it.if you look at the pics youll make out the sender.http://www.z1motorsports.com/imageGallery/main.php?g2_itemId=79592
