  1. if you get a 95 plenum the grinding isnt needed.Youll need a die grinder otherwise with a carbide bit.Thats what i use anyway.
  2. Unless your really wanting new bushes then locking collars are the way to go,simple to fit and way cheaper. Its very rare for vehicles to have bushes where the subframe meets the body,i can only guess Nissan were looking for comfort when they designed it that way.Youll not even notice the difference if im honest when the collars are fitted apart from the loose feel at the rear will be gone.
  3. The hardest part will be compressing the valves, youll need to make a tool up to do it,i used to do many cars years ago like this but they were much easier to work on than a 300zx.
  4. Anybody that missed it i wouldnt panic, all i thought after was im never getting that hour back, was like laurel and hardy do car tuning.
  5. im afraid its not good news,as the turbos pressure is equalised in the plenum by the balance bar you have one turbo trying to feed 6 cylinders hence the 0 reading,And the fact its been standing points to a seized turbo even more so.To ascertain which one cable tie a rubber glove on the outlet pipe from each turbo and start the car and rev it slightly. If it balloons its boosting and if not its seized.
  6. Its a peach but who would buy it over here, shame really.Id be scared to take it out !! imagine somebody damaging it
  7. That white slickie sold for 13k landed would be around 18 with taxes.12500km from new though !!
  8. much cleaner look now,my mate did this to his 325d and it does suit them better. No AC Schnitzer goodies yet Jeff ?
  9. Youll never stop that rusting welding in metal like that im afraid, needs to be primed before its fitted with weld through primer like Wurth Zinc Heil or similiar if you want it to last.
  10. Be on route to blighty soon for some Powerzed loving,I know the landed cost here but im unable to divulge that info !
  11. Check the continuity of the sensor
  12. Its a blatant Liberty Walk copy who use these style arches on loads of cars,i like it but not on a 300zx,for a track zed yes road car no.
  13. No but i know somebody who was having a punt on it,and another possibly also :whistling:
  14. Possibility i may see this car soon :cool2:
  15. Id like out too be honest,we are an Island and have our own ways of doing things,i dont like the fact decisions are made by people who dont understand our culture and way of life. And i certainly dont like propping up countries who lied to get into Europe for subsidies.Talks today of raising again the retirement age to 75,In Greece its 52 !!! and they want bailouts from us,crazy !!
  16. ohms test your injectors,14 is the correct reading,if its over the pintle doesnt lift correctly and the spray pattern is compromised causing smoking, more apparent at idle.
  17. if a tyre has a puncture it will still inflate to its working pressure so the fact your car makes 15 tells me its probaly the ebc install or set up Vig.
  18. The last time i saw this car was 3 yrs ago at a Dyno shoot out at Power Station which has now closed,I was expecting to get hammered by it and it made 40hp less than my 480hp when i knew it had done 500 + previous,it had a few issues and ive no idea if they were fixed so buyer beware.
  19. Thank you Richard, its great to be here fella, 11 years now !,on another note my pms are broken Lol,message pops up saying im not allowed ?
  20. yay !!!! another year :2guns:
  21. Hi Guys, ive sent my subs for another year via paypal, can somebody have a look and see everythings gone through ? many thanks :winkiss:
  22. maf can be left to dry and a shield of some sort can help the issue if it is that,They came with a shield behind the bumper from new but many have been removed over the years.
  23. damp weather and performance filters can often be a problem for maf sensors, unplug the maf and see how it idles after, its a very easy well to tell if it is the issue.
