  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

I got around to fitting my bargain £30 whiteline 35mm lowering spring to rear, to see if it drop it any further, guess what no lol. :( still got a 20mm gap between the tyre face and the arch!

I painted my rear area, with zinc paint and Hammerite, as my Underseal never showed up....

I also rubbed down and painted my rear torsion bar, and refitted the fuel tank heat shield.

Lying on my back cleaning, preping, removing for access, more cleaning, more prep, inspecting, cleaning and recleaning ready for the application of more underseal. Today's target stretches from the front subframe to the rear subframe. I also discovered a power steering fluid leak and possibly an engine oil leak.

I ache!... Shimmying up and down, side to side, in and out... I have lots of grit in my eyes, which has worked it's way round to my brain so I now have brain grit syndrome and after all this it won't look any different or go any faster when it comes back out of the garage! Although hopefully with my bi-annual corrosion control program, it'll still be coming out of the garage looking the same for another 20+ years :-)

This must be the best upgrade you can do to your zed as these cars will be few and far between in years to come. Great work Joely.

I am jealous Joely P, mine looks like an advert for waxoyl........... the bit where it say's, "if you don't use our product your car will look like this!".....

Nice work though, but seeing as you also live in Essex, please stop cleaning and making yours look so nice...... I may actually bump into you one day and yours will show mine up..........lol

Fit some Mikalor T-clamps, gosh they're chunky looking, well made and easy to fit, then measured up for some more .

Also sprayed under the 'SLICKTOP' rad cover plate to brighten it up a bit :thumbup1:.
