Hi, after leaving the car for a week over Xmas, cleared her of snow, opened her up and started her up, fired first time and ticked over purrfect, drove around a while and noticed my indicator's weren't working. When i got home i tested the hazard switch and the bulbs in the dash blinked and the outside lamps also blinked, the separate left/right ones still refused to work. Found the fuse in the footwell, 10amp red, but it was not blown.. Looked around the other fuse blocks but nothing.. Any body got any ideas where to look next? Rich

Hi - Happy New Year to all - I have been rattling on about my fuel rail for what seems an age now, but I have finally got something finished and ready for my car! Just to recap: I wanted injector choice using top feed Bosch style injectors. I considered the 300degree rails (and others) a poor solution (for me). I wanted parallel fuel feed options. I wanted to prevent thermally conducted engine heat from the engine warming the fuel delivery system. I wanted to be able to change injectors easily without plenum removal. I wanted a fuel rail that could grow with my engine as it changes and becomes more powerful. (This system is good for up to 1600cc injecto…

Ok guys my autobox has starting acting a lil strange lately so Im going to give it a service tomorrow. I have looked around a little bit but still havent found the answers that im looking for. I have read that Dexron ATF is the correct fluid to use and that I should check the fluid level while the engine is running and the tranny is in park after I cycle the tranny through the gears. I.E. 1,2,D,N,R,P. Is this correct? Does anyone have any tips? Thanks in advance for your help.

A poll to see how many would like the Car of the Month competition revived. Please take into consideration, that there is a fair bit of effort and time required to make the competition run smoothly, organise the trophies etc. Isaac ran the last few and it a decision was made to knock the COTM on the head, due to lack of nominations, votes and general interest. We have had a fair few new members since and some renewed interest. So get voting, its down to you the members to make the competition work. Cheers Graham

Hi Guys, Could anyone please give any suggestions on what make and type these lowering springs are, are they coil overs and therefore adjustable? or are they just lowering springs, what would they drop the car by? Being from a swb would they also fit a lwb? does the kit look complete? I`m in negotiation with Rigs who is selling them, but we are both unsure of their full use Thanks for any help Daz

When I lock my car the interior light stays on and then dimms to off. No issue with this but im SURE my old one didnt do it. Infact its somethnig that all my bmw's have always done but im sure my old zed didnt do it... Is it something to do with this model year(95)? Or it was broken on my old one? or its something to do with this particular car? Not complaining but just wondering if anyone else has the same thing?

Quick question, which extends lower down? the 99 Spec bumper or the 89 spec bumper? Due to the awkward nature of my drive my new car just touches as its being brought into the drive. My old one did with its 89 spec bumper but I wasnt so bothered about that! My question is if I were to revert back to an 89 spec bumper would it solve the issue, or would it make it worse?

Hi all, right, my problem would seem to be an electrical one so will run it past you all for suggestions. Narrowed the problem to no.6, the cylinder is fine when cold and so far ok when restarted straight after shutting the engine off.The problem occurs when left a while, nothing..removing the coilpack connector makes no difference to the engine note, the same with the injector. I`ve recently replaced the loom so all is good with the connectors, the ptu is a new series 2 with a new loom. So there seems to be an interruption in signal when warm. I`ve swapped coilpacks to eliminate that side of things. Have a new spark plug to pick up, have a new cas, also have sp…

Simple question really, non hicas boss's go for 18 quid or so, hicas enabled bosses fetch 60-70 quid... but i can't see any pictoral evidence that there is any physical difference in the items?! If the normal non-hicas boss 'fits' then what problems would it cause hicas wise? Could somebody confirm? Also if I'm looking to eventually remove hicas anyway would it make any odds? Cheers! David

I've noticed a small but long scratch/score on the side of one of the "pots" on my front brake calliper :glare:. I can't feel it but it is quite visible. The question is; is the pot buggered and needing to be replaced or am I being too cautious? could I polish it out? if so what compound do I use? I've tried taking a photo but with my skills it's just coming out black and blurred and not very visible :euro: Think I already know the answer to this  but thought I'd ask anyway. cheers Dave

I'm replacing the seals in my front brakes. So far I've done one. Before I go any further can somebody tell me if I've done it right. I've replaced the internal O ring and both the piston and chamber are free of any dirt or scratches. Just want to confirm the seal is on right, before I do the rest. Cheers dave

Style and evolution The Z32 chassis would likewise undergo several changes throughout its production run between 1989 and 1996. Among the milestone safety additions are the inclusion of standard driver and passenger-side airbags and true pillar-mount seat belts. The Z32's extended model year sales in 1990 reached 39,290 units.[12] 1991 * Manual climate controls discontinued. * New electronic climate controls allowing control over air flow direction, but no more ambient temp gauge. * Nissan logo put on the front fascia (nose panel). * Driver's airbag now optional. * Air conditioner evaporator valve changed from aluminum to steel f…
