I know there was a post put up about a zed over in japans that kept the standard shape with just new wheels and a nice suspension set up on it. And quite a few poeple liked it, well..... this one kind of reminds me of it. Nice car with the FSH etc. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/200947346721226/sort/priceasc/usedcars/make/nissan/model/300_zx/quicksearch/true/postcode/pa169he/page/2/radius/1501?previous=%2Fsearch%2Fresults%2Fusedcars%2Fpostcode%2Fpa169he%2Fradius%2F1501%2Fmake%2Fnissan%2Fmodel%2F300_zx%2Fsort%2Fpriceasc%2Fquicksearch%2Ftrue%2Fpage%2F2&logcode=p

Julia and I went to Cornwall over the New Year and, at last, gave the new ZX its first proper outing...... .....So 1000-odd trouble-free miles later (some at a "fairly swift" pace:shaun:), I definitely know I bought a good 300zx:thumbup1: We even woke up to see a dusting of snow one morning; luckily the Z was not bothered by it :thumbup1: The car did get pretty filthy though, owing to the winter roads (which you can see in the pics); however I've cleaned it today and put it back in the garage once again! Basically to cut a long story short, i had a problem with my zed some time back. My car has been parked up for 2 yrs come May . I wanted to get this sorted LONG ago then i was laid off from work (credit crunch etc) so the car was SORN and left on my drive thinking I would get around to it. Well, time has gone by, and I did have someone come look at it and we never got her running. I dont earn much money coz I have been working towards my teaching qualifications over the last year after redundancy and i've been doing a bit of volunteer work too. The thing is the zed ran perfect all the time while i had it up until i fitted the dump valves (probably unrelated). Problem was …

Most zeds I've seen recently appear to be around Glastonbury / Street! Seen this one by the Baptist Church close to rush hour, would of flashed but thought it was a Supra as it was pretty dark out, but the taillights gave it away in the mirror, think it had a pedastal type spoiler. Anybody on here?

Been for my first drive in the new shorty tonight, apart from the test drive of course. I have report, it goes well however: brakes need work, headlights rubbish, wipers rubbish and 275/35 tyres also rubbish on snow.... It is now parked at the bottom of my hill unable to get to the house. Pesky cars! So i should have bought a FORD as the Driver Returned On Foot....! Still such an awesome car! Needs a bit of fettling, but nothing a couple of mornings in the workshop cant rectify! Knocked it into high boost for one gear change and decided against it again when it spun up in 4th :s Why do i always buy 300zx's in winter???

Hi guys recently purchased a decated stainless steel with exhaust to replace my tired one. When I had a look at it, I realised that it did not have anywhere to fit the 2 O2 sensors that are fitted near where the cats used to be in the exhaust. Can anyone tell me if the engine would be affected if these sensors are not fitted.Sorry if this question sounds stupid but I can't figure out why a company would sell these exhaust without provision for these sensors.:detective:

gotta fix the rear lights, indicators are fine, checked the bulbs there all fine, checked the contacts there all fine, checked the voltage....seems a bit odd sort of flickers up and down to quick for the metre, front lights ALL work? cant work out why the rears dont? so in short neither the brake or rear side lights work, any clues? if the fuse had gone surely the fronts would be out? or are they separate? if so where is the fuse? mines jap is there a translation......its been 10 months without my car this is the last thing left....... heeeeeeelllp http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=123680&referrerid=14871

Sorry this seems a very silly question but I've noticed 'safety boost' being mentioned a few times. Let me describe my cars power delivery: 3k boost kicks in 4k-4.5k it goes up to 7.5psi , doesnt go off the guage or anything then the power seems to drop off quickly by 5k. Whilst the initial torque and surge is fantastic I can't help but think its running out of puff awfully fast. If I increased the boost to 15psi, would it have the same amount of kick low down and would the powerband be extended closer to the redline? The car was dyno'd (with catback mongoose exhaust system) at 273 bhp at the fly, or 245bhp at the wheels.. which seems a little lowish, thoug…

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1422975.htm This guy is after my cougar. He wants 2k for his zed and claims its mint which i doubt to be honest, has full SH and receipts for all work carried out. that grey is one of my favourite colour for a zed. Any thoughts on it?

Guys I read these are important when you start running more boost. Who knows what? Or are they a waste of time? I also read that the CAT has EGT probe, when you De CAT these are removed. (no problem just ensure the wires don't short) Just changing my exhaust over amongst other mods, Should I place an EGT in the down pipe just after the Turbo? The manifold would be obvious place but a ******* to get too. Thanks for your advice Seb
