My rear arches are becoming increasingly tatty with bubbling paint from rust over an area of 4-5 inches on each side, anybody got a guide price for getting this tidied up?

Where can i get one from? seen the in the us but postage is like $250 anyone got one

Hi looking for some help, I brought a 2nd hand Stainless exhaust off the forum. When I came to fit it tonight, the near side exhaust bank appears to have an extra CAT in it. Certainly nothing like it driver side. Is this common with UK Models? Also there is a sensor in the casting, I guess this is a CAT Temp sensor ? I think I need an exhaust eblow (Short one) going through roughly 90 degrees to match up with the downpipe. Can anyone shed any light on this? Cheers Seb

Ok i thought i would start a new thread as my recirc thread has become a bit long. Right basically i cant boost past 17-18psi it will hit 17-18psi then drop down to 14 or so..... its not the ebc as ive had the actuator pipes off and it still wont boost past the above pressure. fyi i dont have the stock actuator solenoids anymore. the ebc does make a difference, if set to 0% it will boost a steady 10-11 psi on 100% of course it will on boost to 17to18psi depending on gear... anyway this is irrelevant seen as ive had the actuator pipes off. i have ditched the recircs hoping they were leaking, I fitted a single Bov which dumps nicely with no leaks.... both sides, how do i 'fit' them properly? presumably i need to remove them and cover the back of the black bits in sealent? but what type? and how exactly do they come out? seems to be a bit of metal in the way??!?!

Help me out here, what is this and why is it located there! seems strange to run a pipe all the way to a solenoid at the front and then back again and through the bulkhead. Done an engine swap and it's the last vacuum pipe I got left. I'm guessing it needs vacuum from the balance bar? Is it related to the AIV or EGR system 'cos I ditched both of them. Where does it connect to and more importantly what is it!? Will a UK manual TT radiator go in my jap manual converted TT?

just replaced my original wheels and iv noticed that all for tyres have worn down on the inside, the outsides and middle are in perfect condition, any ideas what could be causing this, just sounds abit strange having all four worn. cheers.

Hi, I always try and buy OEM from the traders on this forum, but recently it has become MUCH more sensible to suffer the pain and extra cost of using Courtesy or other USA based suppliers. I recently bought 460USD (£280.00) worth of stuff from Courtesy and even after the import duty/VAT I still saved a good £70.00 !!!!! (And received the goods in 5 days). Does anybody have any tips on removing the old stock tweed interior and replacing it with a new one? I have already got a complete z interior - Thanks to a very kind Bobgenie - and have swapped the door cards, but what about the central console and the glove box and the bits around the glove box etc? Can anybody help? I have tried many searches but no real success. Thanks in advance.

havent noticed this til the other day (bear in mind i havent really driven the car in a year) had small amount of air hissing & water squirting out, on closer inspection looks like a hole there? now it looks almost perfectly round asif something supost to be there? am i missing something? ive seen some cars which have another pipe coming from the side by the cap. when i installed the rad, i just had the 2 main pipes which go to the engine, and then 1 pipe at the bottom which goes to the expansion tank

What did you use to stick it down on the dash? Luke suggested I use black mastik but I can't find it anywhere.

hey guys. i'm away to be selling my mint 300zx wheels with 2 tyres on the front at 5-6mm and the rears about 2-3mm anyone know how much they are worth roughly? was going to throw them up on ebay or something but have no idea how much to make a buy it now? all come with genuine center caps. cheers jonny.

Just got my self a 52mm 2 gauge pod and was wondering what gauges to use ive seen some on ebay from hong kong:blink: typeR ones thast look ok and are cheap has anyone used these so what are they like,if not what do you use? im going with oil temp and boost (psi)

Refering to this link on ebay :- 300zx Breaking First of all, its almost criminal breaking up a SWB manual TT that has covered only 31k miles :huh: secondly - its got a UK rear bumper which (IMO) looks awful because of the go-go-gadget number plate recess. That is all :clap:

As above my zed takes ages to fire is there a non return valve in the fuel system to stop the fuel lines draining when you switch off? Or anyone else had the same problem and ideas please thanks alot Marty

wasnt to impressed easly got the car to a safe place. took me ages to get the cap of the alloy to show the nuts to take it off , i also had to use one of them dodgy jacks you get in the boot. As the car was to low it was major pain in the arse to try and get the lip to jack it up when you have a body kit on . ever way i think i got the rite place . £200 quid for a new tyre what a bitch
