hello everyone, gonna put my other engine back together as mine is playing up, it as ross forged pistons, have got acl bearings and all the gaskets, was gonna reuse the forged pistons as their in great condition, is their anywhere who supplys total seal rings in the uk, thank you

Well i haven't posted a thread like this in about a year hehe, so here it is, a few updates to the car. Fitted the Oil Pressure and new DVD/GPS head unit, still waiting to fit the water temp one as the person on ebay gave me the wrong size, even thought it says it is the right size!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, anyhow some pictures. Many thanks to jimmer who helped me fit them :D The wiring is messy at the moment, it will be sorted very soon. For some reason resizing them has blurred them.. Gauges are Boost / Oil Pressure.

Hi all, It's been months since i've touched the V8 project due to cars blowing up and financial commitments but i've had some good news today. I'd had the metro blow up on me just before Christmas which has meant an engine swap then i've had alot of work on to get a major site finished off ready to get the money in for my tax return. :clover:hi lads still having this problem , car starts fine , drives like it down on power , on stationery when i rev it , it backfires , should i check the crank angle sensor could this cause back fire , valve timing 100% any ideas , could it be the two solenoids at the back of the inlet cams , or AFM , showing code 55 :clover:

now iv made the car mechanically sound and as happy as larry (whoever he is?) i want to make it faster, its an na so naturally all breathing mods have been done, it pulls well and feels healthier than its ever been, i nearly bought a nos kit last year but i lost my bottle (was kinda semi talked out of it) some peoples opinion are that its a waste of time on the 300's due to the engine settup id be happy with a 50 shot per bank giving an (guesstimate) of 322bhp, id be looking at a wet progressive kit with an arm/dissarm and micro switch on the throttle for the hit - www.jimwolftechnology.com/wolfpdf/N2O%20NA%20300ZX.PDF

Went up to bodyshop a couple of weeks ago and fitted all the new exterior trim. I took the targa panels away, stripped them and replaced the trim on them, along with new corner mouldings. Going to collect tomorrow and get it back home! I will then need to strip out the cream leather interior and replace the seats with my cobra ones. Will take some pictures and post up over the next couple of days.

Hello every1, have a problem,was hoping some1 could help me with, my zx tt as a rattle/knock what sounds like bottom end, Its weird cause the sound only happens if i blip throttle around 2500 revs If i rev it high [6000] theirs no noise at all, And no noise before 2500, Put it on a ramp today, and from underneath the car it sounds like its coming more from the top end of engine, I change the oil every couple of months at the worse for mobil 10w 40, and dont do many miles, And its allways around the maximum level {dont use much oil, never needed to top up between oil service] But last few days its been getting a little tappy [lifters] so was gonna chan…

went for a 2 hour drive up to southhampton today to go and pick up my seats from Madmax. had a look at all the parts he as got and the car and all i can say is WOW:shock:. everything is top notch and amazing. the engine build quality is amazing. cant wait to see it all finished. need to either fix the viscous one iv got.. (somehow) or an upgrade? (somehow)...... can you weld viscous diff's? or do i just get a poo'y s13 open diff and weld that up? 2way sound terrible, 1.5 would suffice - any ideas?
