Hi, My other half is trying to sort the Z out as shes not very well. The pipe under the air filter on the left is soaking wet and the right one is dry so hes got a hairdryer on it trying to dry it out. Anyway hes now checking the spark plugs and the previous owner had Bosch Super Plus FR7DC ones fitted amd are 10MM! He thinks these are the wrong size and fitting. Is he correct? Shes also smoking from the exhaust on the side that that pipe is wet so we are hoping thats sorted by the hairdryer. She was refusing to move more than a few inches and was almost cutting out then sending her revs high then almost dying. Sorry not technical as u can see. Hes out there…

Im sure many know of AshSPEC history - Great Z Products, poor Customer service. Well, looks like thats changed, for the good. http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=165795 Might be a good time to start thinking about some Group Buys. There was a lot of interest in the Rad and Fan setup last time. AshSPEC http://ashspecz.com/

Took the plunge and went for a set of Kosei 18" 3-piece Split rims from Japan. Wont be to everyone's taste but they ticked some important points for me - Low Weight (7.7kg), Manufacturing Quality and a big fat lip :) F 18 x 8.5J offset +29mm R 18 x 9.5J offset +37mm Will tinker with the offset for an aggressive stance. Got a bit of a wait though....Going to take 4-6 weeks to arrive by Ship from Japan :glare:

H!:nuke: I hope you lot may be able to help me? My battery went flat and I boosted it of my mates jump pack. I let her run til warm then set off. I woudn't rev over 2500 rpm .Its an Auto box, import so tried all the 'box modes but none of them changed the rpm limit. Took her for about a 3 mile drive but still the same. I have to point out that when I moved it last night, when I switched it off it kind of , felt like back pressure or something as the engine lurched , I guess thats the best way to explain it. It starts fine, and runs up to 2500rpm as normal, is it a problem with the air mass meter? and where is it on these :censored:cars?

Hi all Just wondered if anyone can identify the following models: 300ZX BM7890 HZ32000178 300ZX KE8888 GCZ32516695 300ZX BF5555 H231300003 300ZX KE9999 GCZ3516782 300ZX KE8575 JN10RGZ32U0001939 300ZX BM700 HZ32-000085 300ZX KC1953 JN10RGZ32U0002036 I think the one with chassis starting GCZ32 is a TT like ours but the others ? GCZ35 ? HZ32 ? Are those starting JN10R something to do with the Japanese tuner Jun ? In case of doubt this was extracted from the Brunei listing - was dreaming of finding oil under my garden !! Cheers Mark

Reet, here goes, she's had a new loom, used but working PTU, mostly every pipe changed, new IC,intake pipes, new plugs, any many more things, i think the only things not changed are the CAS and TPS.... The problem is, she runs beautifully, revs as sweet as a nut, ticks over a little fast tho, sometimes, but if i rev her, a good foot down rev (whilst stationary), then sometimes it seems to return to tickover, but sounds like she's running on 5 cylinders, also when driving, there is no low end torque, but when you slowly get to about 3500 revs she shoots off like a rocket, although maybe not as fast as she should be, ecu diagnostic comes back 55 99% of the time, but ve…

No idea how to set up a poll but wonder what %age of posters on here actually spend more time on this forum than either driving or 'attending to' their Zed. I guess the vast majority are on here more than behind the wheel!

One of my front speakers is all buzzy and rattly on tunes with lots of bass. I guess I should replace them. Anyone know what sort will fit? I just want reasonable ones, nothing too fancy. Thanks in advance.

The temperature gauge on my 300 always seems to read/sit close to maximum. Although I haven't had any cooling issues so far, some how I'm sure the gauge shouldn't read quite so high. Can anyone advice what may be the cause and possible cure for this?? Thanks

Hi, I’m hopefully going to buy a 300zx that’s in amazing condition. I’m just after some reassurance regarding the rust issue. I have been reading some threads regarding the common rust on the rear and although this car has none it has me wondering. I know you only hear of the cars that have problems and no one ever posts, “my car has no rust”. Please someone reassure me that a well looked after Z will not end up rusting. Do these cars rust form the inside out, so a car can look great from the outside but be eating itself on the inside? This happened to a family members Trooper, we only found out about the rust when the mot guy put his hand through t…

obviously by the title this is not good for any zed! but i have kinda identified the problem, there are wiring looms and wires with connecters at the back of the engine bay on top, if you look on your car you will see(il upload pics tmrw) but anyway when i try to accelerate hard or open the taps a bit the car just jumps then dies! i roll to a stop and sometimes i can restart it but sometimes i have to leave it overnight and it will start in the morning! (wierd) but anyway when i move these wires and jiggle them around the idle sound and speed changes, and when the car doesnt start completly il get sombody to fiddle with those wires while i turn the ignition and it will us…
