Hi guys, Boring question I know but does anyone know where the rear washer get's it's water from? Is it the same reservoir as the front or is there another tank hidden away somewhere? The front washers work fine but I get nothing on the back. Thanks.

Ok so i've been generally sorting out squeaky and rattle trim and pretty much got all of them sorted except for this awful plasticky rattling noise under the dash on the left hand side near the glove box. I've taken every loose bit of crap out the car that could rattle, its not the glove box or anything in it but something near it, I thought it might be the heater blower but whether its on or off it still rattles whilsts driving. Anyone else had this problem and solved it?

No less than 4 times in the last 30 minutes of driving the Z. 'Nice car mate' shouted over. Couple of girls in a 406 coupe stopped at an intersection to make the very same comment! It's great having the car in hibernation for the winter as you appreciate it even more when you drive it. Very flattering and it's quite a buzz having people stare and make comments at a 20 year old Nissan!

Hi just to say a few things about removing the hicas system, absolute nightmare had to get petrol tank deflector plate off first, got 2 bolts off and had to chisel the other 2 off so now no protector plate, main bolts holding the hicas in place stuck solid wd40 and plenty of heat and a strong bar to get them moving, very tight, replaced the tie rods also made the job that bit easier.getting the lockout bar into position quite a job but eventully got it big sye of relief. now brilliant fitted the bypass tube to the front and removed the hicas silenoid easy enough. ye ha no more leaking steering fluid. thats the car almost sorted apart from a respray! just thought i w…

Only done a 1500 miles in it so the car has only done 54000 mile, the last owner lost his job also, he had it for six years and only covered 7000 odd. Well gonna change the oil soon and put some petrol and park and cover it up in the garage. Im gutted

First of all, certainly a very long time since my last post, so hello to all the old school members I'm currently looking about for some 99 spec rear lights and came across lots of these chinese knock off copies for very cheap money( not sure if they have been reveiwed here before, cant find anything in the search), all they require are the thin black lines to fully emulate the originals. Has anyone bought these and perhaps know of their quality? I bought my z a few months ago with a slightly noisy lifter on tickover but other wise all fine. Last week it was getting louder and since I hadn't changed the oil since I bought it I thought it best to do it then. After changing the oil the lifter got really loud and the car started running lumpy on tickover but fine when driving (although the lifter has become a loudish knocking even when driving it. Checked the ECU for codes... code 55, nothing wrong although there is some pre ignition on accelleration. Yeasterday I decided to phone a trusted trader who deals with zx's and price up relpacing the lifter, gaskets, and anything else I may as well do while I am in …

Guys When I bought the zed the indicators never cancelled when you turned a corner. This was solved when I bought a new wheel with the proper fixing kit. Anyhows I had to remove the thick (already broken) double electrical plate thing that went on there with the stock wheel. With it on the new wheel would not go on the spline properly and the indicators would not cancel again. Thing is I have wiring for a central horn and two thumb mounted NOS buttons to wire in. The problem is how on earth can you rotate the wheel 360 degrees one and a half times each way and wire them in without the nissan thingy??? I cant use the Nissan one even if it would fit a…
