I'm thinking about replacing my tailgate with one that has had the wiper removed. I was wondering what people thought about the rear wiper. Do you really need it? etc... What do you think?

Sorry just before I grab an FMIC I was wondering what customising was needed on the Z, front bumper grill need shaved down a tad from behind?

Got the tension rods of my old jdm out today as I was going to replace the oem bushes with whiteline ones. Had a quick look at the rods and it appears that they've already be done :clap: They look like E.S ones to me, can someone confirm this? Cheers Dave

Hi everyone, As well as my Z32 I have an old:wheelchair:, well actually its the same age as the Z32, Z31:wheelchair:. I've never seen any on here as we seem to all have the 32 but I want a few bits and pieces for my 31. Hi couple of wheel questions, whats the most common wheel sizes and offsets for an aggresive setup. I have a set of 20" kicking about, think thats maybe a bit big. Also whats the standard offsets?

as i'm still wet around there ears on here still need a little advice... In the process of changing all the rear brake lines i've managed to break (what looks to have already been week) one of the feeds on the diff oil cooler, a friend who has 2 x 200sx's (so i dont believe the little swine) says they never work an to remove it is he just saying that as hes jealous he doesent have one... so 2 questions 1 does anyone on here have an oil cooler for sale?? 2 can the oil cooler be removed without harming the diff?? As i'm a firm believer in things were fitted fo a reason.. or are my worries confounded an it'll be fine??? any help appreciated..

Guys, I have TT auto which I have fitted a NA 5 speed manual box to it,the doner NA 300ZX had a 180km/h speedo and my TT has a 290km/h speedo, how do I get the calibration correct? is it a matter of fitting a resistor in somewhere? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, A friends Z is having a roblem. It won't start. It turns over fine but will not fire. There is no sound from the fuel pump priming and no smell of fuel when turning over. The fuel pump relay has been replaced and no joy, The water temp sensors have been rplaced recently also. We will be testing error codes tomorrow and testing the wires on the fuel pump also... Any other ideas folks?? 1990 tt manual

Dear Z lovers, This is my second Z, a 98 TT pearl white import perfect condition. The ride has been lowered by just more than an inch. The turbos were reconditioned just before the car was imported and I am the first uk owner (only one owner in japan). The problem is that in 2nd and 4th gears there is a 'whooshing' sound coming from somewhere (sounds like under the gearstick). I have considered that this is the turbos but I am not sure, because as i said this only happens in 2nd and 4th gear. Others have driven my car and said that everything feels good, but also do not know what the noise is. Any suggestions please would be really welcome, thanks in advanc…

Hi, my 1989 TT seems to be running rich. The fuel economy even for this car is terrible. 10 mpg around town taking it very easy, 15-20 on a run. The car is standard as far as I know apart from Cat-Back stainless steel exhaust system( standra manifold I believe). The 5 inch tailpipe inners are coated with soot. My father pointed this out. Just wondered whether it was an easy jot to tune the car or is an ECU issue??? zind

Hi mate, What sort of money are we talking for smooth tailgate spoiler finished in black please? Delivered to OX11 7RP. My original spoiler is in perfect condition apart from the paint has only just started to come off after the cold weather we had. (are you still after an original spoiler to make moulds off?) i bought a toyosports fmic and it didnt comed with desructions , my question is on any given side of the intercooler does it matter if the pipes on the intercooler are up the top or bottom. because after all as long as they match each side doesnt matter dose it?

I have a TT engine here that hasn't been run for a while, the reason the car died was suspected headgasket failure. But amongst my boxes of bit I have a snapped camshaft! Is this something that can happen and what would the symptoms be, or is it likely that some rough mechanic has broken it taking it out? :detective: or maybe madmax tried to fit it. lol :tt2:

Hi guys, can anyone give me a fairly close idea of redline speed in 2nd for an auto n/a ?? Trying to fight a speeding summons. Caught by motorway cop whose camera was defective so his word against mine.( said I was doing 94, but summons just says exceeding motorway limit) My box was playing up at the time and was stuck in second. Engine off and when restarted has been fine ever since. Thanks guys.

hi all. can anyone tell me where to source a recon kit for a stock turbo ( with the better rear seal option ) will be doing the work myself except the balancing- any suggestions also on where to get balanced ( south of london ). many thanks

for the side repeaters on the wing, where can i get the holders from? they are the wedge type bulbs, dont really know what to call them, i also need a slightly larger size aswel as those ones. (they are for my Supra)
