Here's one that may be a little tricky. Or I could be wrong. What's the weight of the TT engine. Trying to work out what the best Engine Stand is too buy. Okay, i'm putting the drivers seat back in, but can i find where to put the small white connector that comes from the seat belt clicker thing.. were i not crazy from trying to get MultiMeters to work i would loose my mind... Thanks in advance.. Rich

So seemingly my blitz ebc has packed up. It's an older style one with small knobs each side and the display in the middle. I want a direct replacement with the controller able to manage 1.5. Bar. Can anyone advise pls. I do not want to be cutting the loom etc etc again.

Well nearly, Not sure how but I think the left hand cam block has warped or damaged. Reassembled the block for the third time and when everything is torqued up the cams cease and can barely move. Now I know when times they are under pressure pushing on the lifters and springs but its so tight its ridiculous. The cam brackets are all in the correct order and its properly lubricated and the torque settings i'm getting from the manual. Looks like i'm gonna need two new top cylinder blocks. Now the question is - My zed is a series 4 and the top plenum along with the lower plenum are slightly different. Does that go for the blocks too…

Hello, Thought I joined this ages ago havent nevermind sorry. Anyway I've got a TT im currently restoring, I was told it needed a turbo rebuild by the previous owner. Feel a little annoyed as I've taken it to get a rebuild and discovered that both turbos are goosed and need new cores. Thus far I cannot find any anywhere, so options: Find some Garrett turbos from someone, rebuild and install Find new Garretts Buy and fit different turbos I need some help and guidance with this guys, I'm kinda clueless with this problem. Does anybody know whether the glass targa tops are the same size for a Z31 as a Z32? I have a Z31 and am looking for new targa top bags/covers

I recently fitted new wheels and am looking to get a set of domed Z wheel centres for them....previously I have gone with Black with a silver Z Should I stick with the same (bearing in mind the centres are quite large 70mm diameter)...or go for a different colour combination? Suggestions welcome! PS...I have a Red steering wheel emblem...but not sure if any colour other than black will work with the yellow?

I have a wooden one that feels good, but doesn't flow with the look of the cabin, plus I have a short shifter to install, so wondered what knobs and shifters you all have and how you rate them? Hi folks, I'm looking for a complete respray on my zed. It is pearl white at the moment. I'm looking at going for a really modern glassy looking brightest white I can get. I'm in the Bournemouth area, but don't mind travelling anywhere if it means I'm going to get a spectacular job at a good price. Any recommendations and estimates would be greatly appreciated. A good friend of mine asked me how long I'd had my current Zed at the weekend. I was shocked when I checked - I purchased her in March 1997 from Access Nissan in Epsom! Admittedly, she's been off the road for a couple of years for an electrical issue that caused her to fail an MOT. I've been promising myself to get this fixed for some time now, but time always seems to be plotting against me. I've just been to check her over in the garage and she's looking very dusty :( I've got some more time on my hands as work has calmed down recently, so I've promised myself that I'm getting out there to get her fixed and back on the road. haven't been on in a while and infact I don't own my widebody any more, I sold this a couple of years back now to a gent that I believe really abused it sadly. I saw it just before Christmas on eBay looking very sorry for itself up in Windermere and I would have happily bought it back but the new owner was wanting way to much for the issues it now has. We have a small stand for just TWO cars - maybe three at a squeeze - so I am looking for volunteers. anyone know what would cause the timing to be moving about when checking with a strobe? Electric/sensor fault or possibly the belt on slightly wrong as it was just recently changed. Not my car btw.

Assorted pictures from the recent run with Simon and our travelling companions through Europe which took in France, Italy and Switzerland over 7 days and 1950 miles. Another unforgettable experience following on from our France tour in 2015 (which included Joel). Day 1 - Home to Portsmouth and then ferry crossing to St Malo. Stopped off at Mont Saint-Michel and then down to our first night’s stop at Berry-Bouy.

i have a few Multimeters (3) dont ask, and am having trouble measuring the 11-15 Ohm reading on injectors, the resistance scale goes down to 200 ohm as the lowest, would this be able to read the injectors or would it bounce around. So i looked at other MM on the net and a lot are like this 200 600 etc as the lowest. Only the vastly expensive ones read down to 1 ohm. Also the cheap analogue ones read down to 1 as well, is there some difference between the way digi/anal work out the resistance or is it a readout issue. Kind reply's accepted only.... Rich
