I'm still waiting on confirmation that SPL have now recieved their most recent batch of SPL V5 tie rod ends, however....... could somebody clarify something for me? Actuators are located /bolted to the tubs i know this but dont no what they do or are responable for nor do i know how you can test them? are they movement in the arms ment to stiff or just move?

Bought my Z with some big fibre glass pieces missing in the bumper cause the guy who had it before me enjoyed driving backwards of high kurbs, anyway the rear right hand side sagged like hell as the mounting point had broken of and so on, heres some pics of what i found when i took the bumper of... Rear right had mounting point broken off forward right mounting point cracked and barely hanging on. the above mounting point has a 20mm wide and 4" long piece filler missing next to the mounting point. a crack 10mm deep and 1.5" long forward of headlight panel. forward left mounting points was cracked and one was missing. rear left mounting point had a crack jus…

Just a quick question, is there a simple diagram of how the turbo's and pipes etc should be on a standard 300 tt UK spec car please.

i recently got some wheels off ebay that a guy was selling off his z32 they came with small spacers to get past the front top suspension knuckle but they still wont fit ova my calipers.. was thinking he may have had an n/a model which could have had smaller brakes... any ideas

just got my self a full copy of OBD Scantech nissan, has or is anyone using it here? how does it compere to the conzult ? ta :)

Anyone happen to know the nut thread sizes for these nuts on the front top arm? I want to replace the nuts as the oem ones are a bit long and bind on the aftermarket arm due to the amount of lowering. these are the ones in question:

Just clicked over my 1st 1000miles in my Zed tonight :clap: Not a massive milestone, but a sweet one. Finished upgrading my stereo and speakers so went for a drive, reached the milestone whilst the ipod had chosen to play a set a mate of mine did in Ibiza a couple of summers ago. Well, i've had my stock bumper modified. had Car mad vents put in with ultra bright LED's for sidelights at the back of them then had them blended in with the front bumper. Spent a lot of time and money and i have to Admit................i'm not that keen on it. :( Might have looked better on a darker colour car like black maybe. It's grown on me since i first seen it but i may still be in the market for a new one. Perhaps 99 spec. At least this is a custom one off bumper though that no one else will have. Peter

I got a young lad who works at a specialised VW garage to change the pads and discs on the zed today. He does all the work on my Scirocco. I was running a session at the local sports centre and on my way back to the centre i buzzed him to see if he had done the car, he had and came to meet me at the sports centre. Hello as above need a rear shock or 2, had a look on the net but all seems to from the USA to get them? Any suppliers in the uk?, id prefer new ones performance or standard, but would settle for some second hands if had to be Cheers.

If I lift the carpet on the passenger side you can see the ECU and wires n stuff. Am I missing a peice of trim? I would've expected somethin to rest your feet on.. Cheers

todays job was to remove the water temp sensors and give them a good clean up . the connecters were shot and full of crap . the wiring was very hard and brittle so i cut it back about 3 inches . the core of the wire was still nice and supple so just crimped in a new section and replaced the original plugs with insulated spade connecters . ive now got nice clean rock solid connections on both senders .i just put a blob of silicon on top of the spades to keep everything nice and water tight . cost of job was about £1 . a very easy mod and im pretty sure this is gonna be a big help in getting her running nice and smooth.

Hi, My brother has got my old n/a auto and wants to put nos on it, dont think he wants to go mad just a little extra bhp, he asked me if an auto be ok with nos, I know the auto box is not that strong but he is a little worried when the nos kicks in the car will change down to hard, anybody done this. has anybody ever tried going into nissan and asking for a replacement ptu . i know there was a recall on these in america and possibly japan but not the uk . as a lot of our cars are imports would we still be covered . ive thought about going and doing the asking but nissan dont seem to recognise the 300 anymore .

About 5.15 today, only caught a couple of glimpses as I was stuck in traffic - silver zed with what looked like a black standard rear spoiler heading out of central Portsmouth and then into North End from Rudmore r/about. Not one I've seen before, another local zed???

Only just bought my zed, the brakes are terrible! I was thinking of getting a set of used front calipers and rebuilding them, then swapping them over. Being an early zed it's got the aluminum calipers. Are the later ones a straight swop? If so would the pistons be interchangeable? so I could make a good pair if some of the pistons are knackered. Thanks in advance.

Looking for a boost controller but don;t know what it needs. Does it Have to be Dual solenoid? any brands i shoudl stay away from? also, if anyone has one they are getting rid of PM me :)

Can anyone shed some light on what the difference is between the 8 channel and 4 channel AEM ignition module and benefits of each please?
