Swadee Krupp! My Zed has had a bit of attention spent on her lately but she has this slightly irritating gearbox issue. She is a N/A with and Autobox '1990 but when I boot it a bit it sounds like the limiter is kicking in and sometimes she wont change up the gear? Has anyone any solutions? I have changed the plugs recently, and shes had a service at Nissan. It seems to be worse when shes warmed up?

Ok anyone who has a series I knows how frustrating it can be that the heater vents are automatically controlled so you have no choice where the heat comes from. Series II models have a different set up and have direction control on the vents, series I can be converted using the later parts (ecu and control switching) but can be hard to get hold of and costly. So this in mind for a few ££s and an 30 mins work a little known work around and you now can have fuller surround heat in the Winter months with warm air option at the centre vents. All you need is a small two pole swith and a couple meters of 0.75 mm cable and two connectors. Fit the switch wh…

We had some epic rain the last couple of days here in Exeter and when I went to drive my car today it come up with warning lights for the lights, mission oil, and diff oil. This is not what I need when I have to get to work on Monday... Is it possible that all three of these things would go simultaneously or is it likely to be some problem with the electrics? I checked the lights and they were all working I think, couldn't check the brake lights as I was on my own and there were no reflective surfaces :( I'm going to try again in the morning but is there anything I should look for that might be the cause?

While messing about with my car today I noticed White/grey smoke coming out of her, i've not noticed it before I've had a few puffs if I nail it but that's all. The only work I've done was I changed the fuel reg (second hand) as it was leaking. Does it sound like PCV valves or somthing else???

  12. 195 Euros for the day, 4 sessions, a 5th possible I live about 60 miles away, got a spare bedroom and room for a couple extra cars. It would be sweet to get 2 or 3 or even more Z32's out there. I got all the tools necessary to swap pads etc etc, and I should have some brake fluid and equipment for brake bleeding this week. Only thing I don't have is a quality camera. I'm definitely going, already took the day off. It's a monday. Let me know.

I've just bought a fan controller for my electric fan conversion (yes i know, LOL :D). The trouble is it has come with Jap instructions  Is there a way of translating documents or can any one point me in the right direction with the connections please. Also i presumed i would not need a relay but on page 2 there is a picture of a relay. Do i need one in between the controller and the fan ? Also in pdf which is better quality.

  25. Hi, just trying to get the clutch booster system working on a fairlady i recently brought from a chap on here, but need a little help! The car was a auto, been converted using a turbo box, clutch booster, slave and master clylinder system. Theres a pipe just above the clutch master cylinder fluid with nothing connected to it. The previous owner said this can be connected up to make to clutch pedal a bit lighter (as its quite heavy now!). My understanding is that it looks similar to how a brake servo works, with a pipe with one way valve going to the inlet manifold. Is this the case with this system, or is there need for some tanks etc?, or if the …
