Seems to be a large range in the prices I'm seeing in the FS section here, so i'm unsure on values these days. It's a 91 JDM, 2+2 auto TT, ~110,000km, pearl white. Had very little use and been garaged since it came off the boat in 2001 so the body doesn't have any rust at all. Has leather, original deep pile mats, targa bags. Full 60k service was done a while ago, only done 50 miles since then though. New cam belt, waterpump, v belts, all that stuff. 18" wheels, 7mm tread all round. Bad parts.. Rear spoiler is ****ed, needs replacement. Drivers door dented and scratched. Drivers seat bolster worn. Is it going to be worth 2k?

Hi everyone, Im thinking of having a go at my rear arches before the weather gets too bad. I've looked on the various threads, they go on about installing them, and there are lots of links to expired ebay buys, but I cant seem to find any repair panel suppliers or shops or active ebay buys! Anywhere! Im looking to purchase the whole kit, and I'll get everything done in one go. Does anyone have any contacts? or know if any of our traders are supplying the arch/sill repair kits? Thanks, and sorry for starting up on the subject all over again. Cheers Sky

Thanks again for all the advice and support earlier in the week. Since then I have given it some thought, and after long discussions with Marc, I've decided I am going to sell my zed. Well, hypothetically speaking anyway! I have a figure in my head of what I would like for the car, and if I can get this figure, then the plan is to get myself a crappy micra or starlet but something decent enough to get me through uni and my placements and then put the balance aside to start looking for another zed - but this time a TT. As much as I LOVE my zed, and I really do, I have just got back from a drive out and she is just beaut, I know that I need to use my head and not my heart, …

steve really did do a great job, he really knows his stuff andis happy to explain what he is doing, really pleased with the results. here is his site http://fctuning.com/fctwp/ video: http://fctuning.com/fctwp/?p=766 HP vs TQ what i went to steve with an what i left with... Power @ the wheels vs Tractive Effort (how much thrust/grip the car develops on the rollers - nearly 1500 Ft Ibs) HP vs Air Fuel Ratio (average engine fuel mixtures picked up from both Banks of the V6) Hp vs Boost 1.2 dropping to 1bar (very normal with STOCK actuators) only way to cure this solidly is HKS 1.2 BAR actuators with Much STIFFER springs) but atleast this time BOOST i…

Hi people, Ok, my 300 has been suffering from a non firing cylinder when cold, and lately not at all. I first put the problem down to my airfilter getting damp and upsetting the maf, but this was not the case. I investigated fully today and this is what i found..... Engine not running on no.2 cylinder (first cylinder on right as you look at engine), so i checked the readings on the coilpack connector and found to be the same as the rest, thus good electrical connection and signal. So i pulled the plug on no.2 and was in good condition and wet from fuel. So i checked the injectors with a screwdriver for the "clicking", was good on all 6 but, found no.2 was clicking …

Hi All, Due to circumstances may need to reluctantly sell (too much month at the end of the money as they say!). Just wondered ,if it does come to it how much I could hopefully achieve.I know any cars only worth what someone wants to pay you for it but would be grateful for an approx realistic price. Quick description a UK TT Manual 1992 345bhp. Photos in "Little REDZED" ,if it does have to go he'll be gutted, believe me. All the best REDZED + Little REDZED.

Right sold my car today to a guy that is going to tour europe in it with a load of other zeds mainly z31s. Turns out the rally is in support of a hospice or something. So my zed is going to raise money for a good cause and he is staying in contact with pics of the tour. Turns out the guy races a ferrari, gtst skyline to. Owns a 3000gt, collects classic jap cars. Seen the pics of some of his cars and wow. He really appreciate the condition of my car having seen lots of them. True petrol heads and nice guy, car has gone to a good home. I will miss this car and forum, made some good friends. On a plus i may be the proud owner TL1000R. Will upload pic if i get it.

hey everyone, my friend and i are looking at installing mini media center pc's into the front of our cars, the building of the pc etc will not be a problem, nor will sourcing the pc parts. but what we are a little unsure of is what input cards i would need in the pc to take the reading from the various guages, rev counter etc, and also what software is available for this sort of thing? also, i dont spose any of the readings can be taken from the ecu could they? please could someone suggest what cards, software and cables i would need to do this. cheers :-)

Not really a problem as such - just curious. I noticed on my skyline too, that when you pop the petrol cap off it draws air into the tank as if there is a pretty substantial vacuum. Now I'm guessing its either because the tank is so air-tight that its simply the fuel being pumped out that creates the vacuum and/or changes in temp and atmospheric pressure. But It did strike me as odd that its possible to create such a strong vacuum. I also realise that there's a system that collects the tank fumes and feeds them back into the system, but wasn't sure if it was this or the afore mentioned reasons. Do all nissans of this era do this? cheers

Had to have the Zed looked at by the local grease monkey as it's losing coolant. He says he's traced it to the metal pipe attached to the near side turbo. (circled in pic') He's said that it's corroded and that's what's causing the coolant loss. He reckons he could shorten it but is of the opinion that the rubber pipe would be too close to the turbo and subsequently too hot. Can this pipe be replaced? If so, can it be done 'in-situ'? Can Jeff sell me one? He's also said that that turbo is leaking oil externally. Can anyone comment on that? Any help/advice gratefully recieved. Thanks in advance!!
