Hi all, just something i have noticed after my blast out and quick fix tonight. Car is a TT SWB Manual 93. cats are still in place and a S/S aftermarket exhaust has been fitted, cat back. In place is a balance box where as both pipes go into the box and out. Both rear cans have no baffle left in and i ripped the last loose pieces out by hand after looking inside them (4" tail pipe). the drivers side exhaust is hot to touch and burbles nicely. The passenger side is cold to touch and with my hand and ear next to it is only producing a small amount. Is it possible the balance box baffles have also collopsed? James

Marc's selling his Celica and not planning on getting another car til he needs one when he starts uni in January which means my only access to a car is my Zed. I planned to SORN it when the tax runs out end of October as I wouldn't want to drive it in the bad weather plus in all honesty it is just a toy car, I could never afford to run it as a daily driver. As it is I walk to work most days as I'm skint lol. Anyway, I will still need a car, because of work/childcare issues - not to mention that without a car I am severely limited to what I can do and where I can go with my daughter. So it looks like my only option is going to be to sell my Zed, before October so its …

Im modifying the track rod ends, i want to fit a rod bearing that can adjust to change the pivot point due to excess lowering, so i will need a very strong female rod bearing, but i need the thread sizes for the stock inner track rod. and the bore size of the hub so i can fit a lengthened rod Anyone happen to know this off hand? Heres a Diagram of what i need.

  11. I think there was a Jap' thing on at Knockhill on Sunday judging by the Supras, 200SXs, Integras etc all coming from that direction, but I spotted two Zeds. One Black 'H' plate LWB UK TT Manual in Asda's car park in Alloa around 5pm then on my way home saw a torquoise one heading for the Kincardine bridge. Might have been a SWB, but I was busy shouting at the kids in the back seat of the people carrier. (I wasn't driving my Z because it was 500 miles away in Dorking in my office car park leaking all sorts of fluid!! :( )
