Sorry for the post, my clutch started to give yesterday at only standard power slipping as soon as it came onto boost so I'm looking to replace with one that will happily cope with 400bhp. I know Exedy's are fine for medium powered NA engines, but when it comes to skylines etc. I remember they were frowned upon in favour of more exclusive brands... so no BS, who has a clutch which is still perfectly streetable and comfortable performing up to 400bhp? Rather annoyingly it's just one of a list of issues right now, whenever i let off the throttle I get a clunk from the rear diff and you can feel it travels right back to the engine as it jerks it down, this is part…

Just a quick one. Can someone tell me the cotter pin size for the front tie rod castle nuts? 1mm/1.2mm/1.6mm and length. I need to replace the rack boot. Cheers

Bugger! Just got the 300 out to make a start on cleaning the engine and get the tracking checked. As I started her up I noticed that she was running a little lumpy. Drove her down to the garage for the tracking and could smell she was running rich and there was an occasional back fire. Got the car home and removed the coil conectors and there was a drop in revs on all but one connector (middle off side). Called Jim (at PowerZ) and he’s said check the injector connectors (look fine), remove spark plugs and check PTU2. Hi guys My car is at Jimmer's having been sorted mechanically and rust-wise too. It's looking a little forlorn but now it's paint time ! I'm going for a full respray - white again but something brighter and more modern I think. In discussion with Jimmer and his paint guy I'm sure I need all four side window trims and all six roof trims. Are there any ancillary parts for these or is that all I need for door and roof ? I'm going to replace the bar that runs across the centre of the roof as well. The end rubbers have perished and I understand this cant be broken down. Does anyone know of a drivers side rear quarter window for sale? Car got broken into last night and apart from destroying the locks they some took out and rear quarter window without leaving a mark, and then decided to take it!? Super odd! Thanks!

....came across this on Facebook earlier. Dude wanted to shave the 'NISSAN' logo off of his calipers so that the wheel wouldn't hit it. Nothing wrong with filing down just the logo although not something I'd do. Looks like he's gone waaayyyy too far though. :lol: Taken off quite a bit too much material, especially over the top of those fluid gallaries. Rears are worse - structural integrity weakened significantly.

Hi guys,i have just noticed that i have some problems with some lighting on my 300zx,Firstly none of the breaklights are working,(all parking lights are working)also the reversing lights are noting working,and also the indicators are not working,But the hazard lights are working but only on the passanger side,inside and out,Anone have a clue what the problems mights????,BTW i checked the fuses and they seem to be fine,Any help would be fantastic.Thanks guys

Hi guys i have a quick question,I havent drove my 300zxtt in over 2 year,but just before i stopped driving it(1 monthwith less than 100 miles on the belt)i put on a new timing belt,I was just wondering it the belt would be ok or would it need to be changed.Thanks guys

I saw this picture on instagram. How well does a zed run without a ballance bar? I've never really thought about it, I've always thought nissan knew best.

Is it normal for zeds to lose track of the steering angle if the steering wheel is moved without without the ignition on? I spent some time getting the sensor and steering wheel all set correctly a few days ago only to find today that the steering angle displayed on datascan is out again. The only thing that I could think I had done was moved the car with no battery on so I set it right again. I then noticed that moving the steering wheel without the ignition on caused the angle to go out again...part of me thinks this can't be right but having had the sensor apart I can't see how it could keep track of the angle when there is no power to it as all the slots in the …

Like most folks on here I have a few spares lying around but I've only just notices this : Both were taken from series 4 zeds, and the one on the right is way bigger. Overall the larger unit looks better built and is made by Hitachi but is also branded Nissan.
