Anybody know a good engineering company that can do Ultrasonic Cleaning of parts ? Not bothered where they are in the UK but need to be reliable.

  2. Having MOT'd mine on Friday, I took it to the rallying at Goodwood on Saturday, pulled through Chichester Maccas on the way home and lo and behold, another one! Couldn't go full sad git and park next to it unfortunately but looked clean, and the wheels do tickle my fancy. Auto, and couldn't tell if turbo or nae, too dark to see the instruments and couldn't tell if it had intercoolers. I like to think there were some confused locals not believing their luck at seeing two superb rare Japanese performance cars in one place. Or not.

Ok so I’m watching American Pie 2 and I’m sure there’s a red convertible 300 driving in the background as the lads look at a flyer for college workers. So where else have you spotted hidden 300s?

I've been reminding myself how involved these cars are to work on! Still, turned out nice in the end: Some serious hours have gone into this! :)

Need to replace them. What's best to get? These kind of things or stock (part numbers would be awesome from any of you smart people) https://frsport.com/?target=products&product_id=15339&currency=GBP&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9rmM4L-W2QIV5BXTCh3hPwtHEAQYASABEgJnHvD_BwE

Im currently preparing my engine bay for my RB with some paint and relocating a few things such as the fuel filter and the fuse box. Has anyone relocated these and if so how did you do it? Also if you could point me out to another thread or website with info on it that'd be great. Most of the posts on this are old and the pictures are not viewable anymore.

I have a problem with the gauges / clocks all of a sudden. Issues appear to be: RPM - dead, not working at all Oil pressure - dead, not working at all Boost - going all the way to the righ (+14) Consult port also seems to no be working all of a sudden too. The speedo was already dead, which is what I was looking at, I basically plugged another set of clocks in while the engine was running when this happened. Same issue on both sets of clocks. So I'm guessing I perhaps blew a fuse or something. Does anyone know if there's a specific fuse that these sit on?

  13. Hi Chaps, this is my first post so I do apologise if it's in the wrong place. This might be a bit lengthy but can be sumarised as follows: 1) Is there a chance my ECU is screwed? 2) Regardless of the answer, does anybody have one for sale for a manual TT that has been socketed? I've been having some intermittent rough running issues, hunting idle for 5 seconds on cold start, misfire on idle, intermittent safety boost. Whilst on a visit to Jimmer at powerzed, he asked me about injectors. It turns out that the ones in the car are not really 555's but a cheap chinese set and he suggested/insisted I change them. Off to pro-tuner I go to buy the new injectors. Whilst ther…

Hi all, I think it's been about 4 years since I last got some time to get on the forums, and although I still have a Z, it's of the 34 Nismo variety and as always is accompanied by a more sensible daily in the form of a Volvo or an IS200. Now then, I am and have been after getting back into a z32 since pretty much the day after selling my last one and so now I could do with some advice. Firstly, what is the going price nowadays for a 32? I've just spotted a slicktop that looks in amazing condition for 3k on here... unless I read something wrong....? So what would an NA manual 2+2 be worth then? And on top of that, what have people got for sale currentl…

I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for cleaning off the muck around the outside edge of the rear screen where the glass meets the seals? I tried cream cleaner which didn’t make much difference then stepped it up to T-cut which made a bit more of an impact. The bits where I did get some results really brought the glass back to life. :cool3: Cheers, Chris.

  16. I would like to introduce Mark Dodd, owner of the GTR-Registry.com website. One of the things that Mark has done is to reverse engineer the Nissan FAST database to produce complete data listings by VIN of car models held in the FAST database. As far as I am aware this has not been done before (http://gtr-registry.com/). I'm delighted to say that this has now been extended to include all the Z32s manufactured for the UK and European markets: http://gtr-registry.com/en-300zx-z32-uk-europe.php Total numbers manufactured by market (RHD/LHD), transmission type (manual or auto) and paint colour are available. (The little plus symbols on the left hand si…

  19. Howdie UK folks:) I´m actually thinking into upgrading the stock Z car radio with some new Coral.Indiana line speakers as well as this radio: Does anyone has this receiver? basically I am looking for something that will work out fine with Iphone in order to catch up via bluetooth good stations back in the states with my VPN. I’m hoping to get the front bumper off this week to remove the mesh that’s been fitted to it. Is it a straight forwarded job, any tricky screws and should I start at a specific point? Cheers, Chris.

I'm currently debating doing away with my boot spoiler and going wingless. What are peoples' thoughts please? I know that, arguably, the SWB is the better suited platform for this anyway. Just wondered what others' thoughts might be... :)

  25. Started by bird,

So, I've been here for years now and have seen many zeds come and go. Some of my favourites being here in the northeast. Anyway, I thoughts I'd make a thread about old favourite to try and drum up some interest. So, what are your old favourites and where are they now if you know. The Fridge: So this was owned by PaulG who put the kit on and painted the car himself in his garage. Shockingly, I remember FunkySi saying he quite liked the car. I personally loved it, veilside Supra spoiler and all. The car sold sold to someone abroad, initially having a wheel change and the spoiler removed before having a complete new colour and look.
