hi i've been having no end of problem with my blower motor not running. i've changed the relay and the amp but none of these seemed to have made a change to the situation. i tested the motor in the past wired directly to the a battery and it worked fine. i can only assume that there is either a positive or negative power supply issue. i have to make a temporary fix till the weather changes, just in case i have to make an emergency trip anywhere. I have read that the power can be by-passed and a switch can be put in place, can anyone sketch me a quick diagram outlining where the wires are to go on the plug going to the motor and which ones they are. i may find that t…

  12. Had no idea this was coming. As some of you know I parked the zed up at the show and shine at Jap Show Finale which was being judged by Banzai Magazine. I didn't hang around for the judging results and thought that was the last of it. Had a flick through Banzai last night in Asda on the way home and saw two pictures of my car and some very complimentary words. How chuffed am I??!!! Glad to see they agree with the "Less is More" philosophy!! Anyone else spot it?

Hi all,had a phone call today from body shop, saying the skirts i have will not fit unless they spend alot of time trimming, re shaping and grinding etc etc.Bought the skirts from car mad styling ww style, the skirts are fine no problem with them at all, but where the car has been welded on, the sills and the start of rear arches etc over the years the shape has changed slightly.Question is should i persevere with the skirts, or should i get the sills smoothed over and repainted. When i had the phone call i thought they were going to tell me the car was ready for collection job done. They also removed rear bumper and rust has eaten away the lower half of the rear arch so b…

As part of the emerald conversion on my car, Pete's and Martin's I'm going to remove the steering ECU and replace it with one of the Emerald's output channels. On our cars it's mainly to tidy up the foot well and free up some space really. Got me thinking though that as the PWM tables switch with the maps it would be possible to have different steering maps for drift / track / street etc. Anyone think this would be useful? Was thinking for drift it might be best to have more assistance so you can get the lock on quicker or reduce the assistance on track for more feel.
