Spotted today going round the bellfield roundabout near the q8 garage in Kilmarnock !

Roughly how much should I expect to pay for this? The fitting, I mean.

Recently saw a manual zed with a poorly gearbox / clutch, due to an odd grating noise in the gearbox area which had prompted the owner to find a replacement gearbox and had a garage change it and fit a new complete clutch kit at the same time. Its does not take much imagination to understand his disappointment after collecting his car and finding the noise still there and worse within a short space of time selecting gears became very difficult to select, eventually back at the garage it became stuck in 2nd gear and that was it. So it was recovered to the workshop as the other garage were unable to find the cause of the problem??? it was at least in neutral now…

Hi guys, I've been away ages taking the car dash to bits and converting...... I managed to get all my stuff done; pods converted to white led writing with red led selector on/off for the switches and my rear bumper reflector lights... Also a new addition.... Managed to light my door handles (in white led)!! :cool3: Also managed to fix my drivers door lock and get it working on the central locking system again by adjusting the three screws... Only thing is (here comes the question...) The drivers lock is activating the central locking but not locking the drivers door...???? I can still pull the handle and open the door. :censored: …

I always wanted to design/make a Z clock or a watch. But I have too many things to do lately . Maybe I'll do the watches later in the near future. Just right click and save this 724x1024px picture and print your own clock face, Buy a cheap clock disassemble it print the dial on a mat or gloss paper at your desired diameter and install it. set the arms at 00:00:00 and you can install it . You could paint the arms orange,use a clock with a brushed SS or aluminum rim to resemble the gauge rings or even install a back-light to it . How do I get hot air through the facia and door vents ?

After having a conzult check performed on my car, i got the result of O2 sensors, and MAF working correctly. Having not being convinced, i tested the 02 sensors by disconnecting them and runnning the car to see if it made any difference, but sadly it didnt in terms of fuel usage. now would this suggest they're actually faulty? and i need replace them, the only thing left is 02 sensors or MAF to replace as everything else has been done. fuel pump and filter fuel damper and pressure regulator fuel hoses fuel tank spark plugs. injectors.

the inside of my headlights are pretty mucky . i dont want the hassle of removing them . anybody had a go at cleaning the insides in situ . if so a little advice would be nice

can we buy the standard Z spoiler in carbon fibre dudes? wanna take mine off and direct replace with a carbon one... thanks

Think it was a green zed a mate of mine saw it as he was driving down to join us going south about 10pm

just seperated the rear centre panel, sat there with a hair dryer, piece of cake... on a roll so i thought. so out come the rear lights got half way through the left hand one still a piece of cake started thinking how easy it is, it was, and why was i so worried about doing it. then suddenly yeh you saw it coming crack! not even a big crack just alittle corner gone! grrrr thank god they were a spare set. any tips for what works better than the hair dryer? oven is out of the question il get murdered.

I went out for a spin today and it cost a small fortune lol!!!!! i ended up using £45 so went out and worked it out to be 14mpg going steady so what do you get average?

Does anyone have the part number written down somewhere? Can't find them on google. I know I can buy them from the Z centre etc but I want to see how cheap I can get them at dealer first.

Right I seem to have developed the issues that seems to relate to the Speed sensor. I loose power steering and speedo at the same time. Im also wondering is the Hicas error is the same fault? The hicas passes the diag test fine and so not sure what else is the issue. Also where is the speedo sensor on the manual gearbox. Makes the job a bit quicker. Thanks

A little update how im getting along, helps to motivate me :tooth: Pretty much getting there, very close to getting some paint on. First had to renew sills and make good underneath of car. The sills I wont be able to get to without ripping of the kit and undersealed the bottom. Having tootled to the Mot and back and the Z not moving since I decided this w/end to flush and drop the oil due to a noisey lifter!-then a nip to the garage and round to Boldy's.Course he needed a fix as his is in dry-dock:ninja: When the rear grappled for traction then broke free,that's when I thought "Yup!-that's why I love the "Z! Oh!-and good caning sorted the lifter too-bonus!:clap:

Can these be swapped for a 180 Mph?-please say yes as I have an offer of some!:thumbup:
