Hi All, I'd ideally like to fit my stock exhaust with some new, wider tail pipes. the problem i have is that i'd probably need to remove the tow rings to enable them to fit so my question is this. What are the tow rings for? towing the Z or to tow another car with the Z? Would i be ok to remove these? Cheers Peter

Ok so i put my breaker on Gumtree for parts and i got an email off a guy wanting to buy the complete thing so i emailed him saying that was possible and then was asked for a price without him even knowing what was left. I said a very reasonable £1000 then i got this email Hello Mate, Thanks for the mail, the price is affordable, so i want you to get back to me with your paypal email account or your bank details, so that i can proceed with the payment as soon as you get back to me with the details. Thanks and i await your fast response. Lennie. I then thought hold on you dont even know what the car looks like and what is left on it. Then af…

Ok, I've had my Zed less than a week and I've broken her! Snow or not I've been using the car on and off, just getting use to her. I haven't had any problems other than in-roads where there are two tyre tracks and a clump of ice / snow in the middle. Now my Zed has huge back boxes, behind these back boxes there seem to be addition silencers, these rub and catch on the snow. I assume its these catching. Anyway, I was driving along on a clear road when I could hear a rattle, which got increasingly louder. I figured I had knocked loose an exhaust clamp which was now rattling around the exhaust. The rattling / vibrating was making quite a bit of noise …

Got a hold of conzult and just wanted a knowing member to check out these readings and see if they make sense and if anything needs to be adjusted. I'm still thinking i've got some sort of leak down the passengers side of the engine; i've checked and carefully listened but cannot pinpoint it; seems to be down the back end of the right side of the balance bar - small hissing noise. Anyways heres the pics of conzult.

I like the city of Bath any time of year, but this week they have a Christmas market so we decided to pay a visit. It was a nice crisp sunny morning after the fog lifted and what better than a ZX for a 100 mile drive each way. I love the M4 when it's empty and cold; especially if there are 3 litres and 2 turbos at my disposal.....:whistling: We had a good day out, soaked up the Christmas atmosphere and enjoyed lunch in The Pump Room. Followed by a good drive home.... Here's a couple of pics from my phone! Richard:cool3:

On the way home from helping out zhoodyx on removing his heater matrix my cat warning light came on a few times. I slowed down and the light went off again but i wasn't doing more than 70 and didn't floor it at all at anypoint on the way home. Later on i nipped out to pick up a chinese and the car felt really raspy and felt as if it was choking at idle when i stopped at traffic lights. You think that my cats are on there last life or could there be something else ?

Ok as most of you know my Z has been off the road a while on a sorn, I’m now trying to get it ready for an MOT and get on with a few things it needs I removed the original rear spoiler and planned to fit a fibre glass replacement i purchased from a club member After numerous attempts to fit it i gave up pending getting a mate to help me who is a little more experienced. Now its off though i keep on thinking if i'd prefer something else, i.e: a 99 spec or maybe a mid-level spoiler i also always liked the idea of the Perspex strip on the rear Down to the question though lol are the Perspex strips easy to fit and I’ve also heard reports that they are very fr…
