I just bought an Iridium Drift Air/Fuel guage from luke on the zcentre. Can anyone tell me if i can take a reading straight from the ECU or will i likely need a wideband convertor ? Plan is to make a switch so i can read both the O2 Sensors. Heres a link to the guage I bought : http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.tpl&product_id=159&category_id=73&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=7

As the brisk weather is creaping over today I decided to give her a last clean up before the cover goes on for the winter snow ! Couple of people passing by commented that i was mad cleaning the zed up in the weather as it would likely be a block of ice by tonight; but I'd thought i'd rather clean her now than getting that salt residue from the roads trapped inside the covers and eating her inside out over the next month or so. I've taken a few shots to show to all even in bad weather a zed looks great ! Not much snow insite at the moment as i put down a hole load of grit up and down the drive and path ways. I was planning in getting th…

Ok im after upgrading the rear standard speakers to something sounding a little nicer. Im wanting to stick with 6x4 as i think it would be too much of a pain to fit 6x9 so has anyone fitted a set of 6x4 that they have been mighty impressed with? Ive just had a look on ebay and seen some caliber ones from my memory they are quite a good make arent they? Marty

I have just fitted a full set of Meister coilovers, lowered it so my rear 18x9.5 alloys / tyre has a finger width of space between tyre and arch. The car looks awesome sat at that height and un-believeabley still clears speed bumps! The rears have a 30 offset which means the tyres are very close to the arch inner roll but for the passenger side this is absoulutely fine with no scrub but the drivers side hits the lip now and again which is well annoying. When you look straight down from about i could phyisically see the passenger side leans in a good 10mm more than the drivers side so i checked the camber adjustmant and mad sure both where at maximum lean in but…

I've just driven from Glasgow to Stirling in my zed in the pelting down white shit I made it, Just but good god was it the hardest drive of my life! Had a hold up in the roadworks for about 20 minutes on the slightest of hills and I really thought the old girl wasnt going to make it. Ended up slithering up the entire slope at a 20" angle at tickover in second. Never before have I been so caught out in the snow in the wrong car! Been here about 20 minutes now and my heart is still going... For anyone who knows stirling, the most astonishing part is that I made it into the highland hotels carpark!

Ok so my nearside low beam bulb dies. I take out the bulb and clearly stamped on the bulb is H3C. Great, off I go to Halfords to get my replacement bulb. But, oh dear, there is no such labelled bulb on the rack of oh so many bulbs. A Halfords chappie comes along and asks if he can help. I tell him I'm after an H3C bulb but cannot see one on the rack. He shrugs and passes me to a spotty herbert who asks again what I am looking for. Patiently I explain I'm after an H3C bulb but cannot see one on the rack. "Did you bring in the bulb?" he asks. "No" I say...."it's an H3C" "Yes, but did you bring it with you?" "No, I shouldn't need to...it's an H3C. The bulb has …

Hi All, After a recent set back with attempting to bond my rear spoiler to tailgate, the ms polymer adhesive never set  I was wondering if my Z would pass the MOT with the holes in the tailgate? (the holes being the original spoiler mounting holes, 6 small holes and the letter box size cut out) Thanks :shuriken:

Hi, Could someone help with a very straight forward question please regarding a battery? I have a 1990 Jap Import Fairlady and need a new battery, unfortunately I got rid of the old one a good while ago so have nothing to compare to new one. Can anyone suggest what battery I should get please as I don't know whether the terminals are set differntly to a UK model? Not after anything fancy, just an average battery to get the car started prior to MoT. Many thanks in advance. Pob
