Atfer coming into a small amount of cash i got to thinking about the car that used to be across the road from where i lived, a blue 300zx. Ive always liked em ever since i had a drive of an old bosses 200sx, i felt that turbo kick in and thought wow if thats what this 200 will do, imagine a 300 twin turbo! So after years of pointing them out saying "i want 1 of those" i decided to get 1. I bought my last car off ebay motors and had no trouble at all, got it for a reasonable price, went down m4/m5 for 90 miles n picked it up, reaslising i hadnt even test drove it on the way back! so ebay i searched and found a few i liked, a 2 seaters in bright yellow too…

I am currently looking to restore some of the worn areas of my leather interior, particularly the drivers seat. I am being told that the colour is black but I am not totally convinced,:confused1: It looks slightly tinted with grey. before I spend any money on a product that will not match, would anyone know what colour options there might be?:scared:

I fitted a new expensive heavy-duty battery four weeks ago and have had it on trickle charge over this cold spell. I was going out for a drive this morning turned the key and the instrument lights began flickering, I didn’t even bother trying to start the car I guessed the battery was flat, I checked the voltage it read 7.4v. it was 13.2v. when fitted. I know the cold weather is bad for batteries but this shouldn’t have happened, should it?

My spare key is also inside the car, can anyone give me any tips how to unlock her from the outside??? email is : bobtudor@hotmail.com or if you can, 07958 334139! Many thanks!!!

Picked up the Zed from Custom Exotics tonight. It's been there for just over a week to get the following: rust repair - rear quarters and sills fabricate brake ducting and repair front skirt (smashed them up on a kerb!) fit front fog light ducts (courtesy of carmad) fit skirts and door fillers (again a carmad production, cheers to Kurt for sorting me out with these!) Great great bunch of guys down there, very very friendly and fantastic comms! Haven't had a chance to look the car over in daylight yet but I'm chuffed to bits! Wasn't too sure whether the skirts would suit but really do like them now they're on! Could only grab a few dodgy mobile pics i…

Nightmare! i just managed to get my car up the drive after a few attempts tonight. my drive has a bit of a slope to it, but nothing major. i turned off, left her in gear and put the handbrake on hard. popped the boot and went round to unload the shopping, and being a lazy **** i always try to take all the bags in in one go, no matter how many there are lol. as i just grabbed the 2nd to last bag and balanced it somewhere on my forearm (i had about 11 asda bags hanging off me by now) the bloody car slid down the drive!!!!! knocking me down and luckily pushing my down behind it :-( but more importantly it ran over one of my cans of caffreys!!!!!!!!! to be fair it came…

Evening, ive had smoked lights on most of my cars with a spare set for MOT's, But with this car spares are pricey. So im wondering if they are actually legal or not? Ive had jet black before and the light can still be seen through them. Is it just a case of the reflector must still be seen? Thanks Mark (im talking about the rear lights btw, but im thinking of doing the front stuff black also)

This might seem a daft thing to do but can it be done ? Theres so many things i would like to add to my 1996 series 4 but cant as theres no parts about as easily as a series 2. Couple of things i'm on about would be cruise, stock turbo guage, series 2 electronic heating controls. I was thinking if i get a new engine loom, ecu and dash loom can it be done ?

Reet, this is becoming slightly tedious now... I have re-built all 4 calipers, put them back on, but wouldn't bleed properly, just constant air coming through, and bubbles rising to the surface of the resovoir... So, master cylinder goosed.. Got a seal kit, rebuilt it, now it bleeds fine, have got all the air out of all four corners and the ABS unit... But, with a few pumps, the pedal goes hard, but if pressure is kept on the pedal, it will push down to the floor in about 5 seconds. Also, the ABS light is on, could this have anything to do with it? Perhaps a knackered solenoid or something? Any help would be massively appreciated, as it is starting to irritate me! I …
