Ok, so I was under my dashboard today, drivers side and discovered a couple of bare wires, one was red (and maybe white too) but small. The other was yellow and quite a thick one, also bare (this one is my main concern!). I also found a plug and socket, these don't look like they'll fit together, but the wire on the plug isn't long enough to reach. I know its a long shot, but if anyone knows if these should be connected (and to what) please let me know! :) Cheers!

I was just pondering what is still available from NIssan. I dont mean consummables and similar small bits and pieces like service items. Just looking at some posts on here a new shell seems to be quite often sought after......can you get a NEW one ? Mark

:helpsmilie:Hope someone can shed some light on this please. Just recently, when i start my 300 tt from cold i get a high tick over, around 2,100 rpm. When i attempt to pull away the engine nearly dies accompanied with this rapid clicking. (3 ticks per second approx'):confused1: It appears to be coming from straight in front of me but it is difficult to pinpoint exactly due to the high volume. After a minute or so it seems to be OK. Would someone point me in the right direction please.

After all the supply issues i had with the wrong supply of my Rangie Wing Mirror (which I'm still waiting for the right one to arrive!) and the bulbs finally arriving one by one I discover my shiney new plasma oil pressure gauge has been supplied with the illumination wire missing out the back!!!! And, as I didn't notice this until I had pre installed it into it's gauge panel, (which scratched the case all to blazes as the fit was so tight) I will have to coiugh up for another in full!!!! Arrggghhhh gutted!

Hi, Just favour please, I`ve won some coilovers on e-bay, I did originally ask the seller if i could use a courier to collect and he said its fine, now after several e-mails hes not getting back to me fast enough, (seems to wait 2/3 days to reply?) and I`m worried that if i do get a courier then he wont be there to hand them over! So is anyone willing to collect them for me and I will get the parcel picked up from your house/work, I think this way i have a better chance of actually getting them! of course i will pay any fuel/time costs to yourself thanks in advance Daz.

Just got myself an engine crane on ebay. A friend has the same one and it is capable of doin the zed engine so instead of hiring one out everytime its cheaper to just buy one :) Therefore if anyone in the Cambridge area needs a crane let me know :) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200538778174&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT Marty

Couple that with sub zero temps I just never got round to washing the car and I certainly will not take it to a roadside car wash :nono: I notice the wheels were getting more and more filthy and of course I knew this was salt  Oh deary dear ruined  A bit of soap and water - a complete waste of time  Fear not - look at them now  20 mins on each one and I have them back beautiful again - all shiny shiny How is all done? Well I have posted before, good old fashioned brillo and elbow grease, other products I find a bit lame, …

I can,t make my mind up whether it,ll look right , although i,ve smoothed and blended the sideskirts the rear bumper has a Greddy Gracer rear skirt on it and i,m worried it,ll make it look a bit bland if i fill the swage in . I,ve got a 99 front which will still have it,s swage left in it so i,m thinking leaving the rear one as it is will look more balanced . What do you reckon ? Smoothed sides The bumper with the skirt on ( old piccy ) 99 Front with the swage ( another old piccy)

Hi all, removed my water sodden spoiler today after it completely freezing solid and splitting everywhere. so now an excuse to remove and smooth or replace with a fibre glass one. After spending a full afternoon removing glue and bonding it cleaned up really well with not a hint of rust in sight. went to open boot lid and it almost smacked me in the chin its so light, before it wouldnt even stay up! question is i have a miossing section of trim in the middle (in pic). do we have to buy a new trim full one piece or when i buy the infill part does it cover it? cheers James

Yup, had the car MOT'd today and got the dreaded red sheet. Luckily though there's only two points - Nearside rear wheel bearing has excessive play *DANGEROUS* (love getting dangerous notes :p ) - Offside rear steering pivot point has excessive play Not too bad i don't think. And they didn't spot the leaking brake pipe, which is nice :p Looks like I'll be making the arduous 10min trip up the m6 to Zedworld lol

Hi all, As above how can i find out or estimate the compression ratio of my engine? Its going to be higher than standard because of the head gasket thickness ive got. I know the normal route these days is to go low comp but my build has ended up high comp along the way lol. Ive been told of a few pros and cons...but has anyone else gone this route before?
