I need some new windscreen wipers as mine are looking a little tired. I would like some new style low profile ones? what have you got? are you happy with them/ where did you get them from? CheerZ

Hi, Got a problem, the fuel pump fuse blew the other day, got another fuse popped it in and bobs your uncle car started again, but now when I turn the egnition off, the car still runs the egnition lights go off ect but engine still runs. Any ideas and help most welcome its never done it before. Cheers Mark

Some as*hole has tried to steal my Zed today and mashed up the door by ripping out the door handle. they have smashed up the steering lock an key. To say the least I am well pissed off and a great start to 2011.

Me again :biggrin: I`m just putting the plenum back on and forgot how the wires to the injectors/coil packs go? do I plug the injector plugs on one side first the sit the plenum on or do they all plug in after the plenum is replaced?? CheerZ

just 2 quickies lads; is there any special way the thermostat goes in? ie , it can spin 180 degrees? and after polishing the plenum what should i wash it out with to get rid of the metal particles? cheerz in advance

Hi guys sorry another wheel thread. I've been waiting for my wheels since June and now they say they are in stock...but now I can't remember the offsets I wanted. Pton are useless and have lost the info. I was going to have to do some light arch work I'm sure the sizes were. Front ET25 9.5 245/40/18 Back ET35 265/35/18. Does that sound about right? I'm sure its similar to j1mmytt spec but I can't use the search menu using my mobile. Cheers dan

well i bought her back in the early summer of 2010 off this forum i swapped my mondeo for her! when i got her the skirts were beat to hell & the paint work was poor all over with some bad repaires peeling etc & dammaged standard front bumper & nose panel: also some bad dails fitted on dash, so the work began!... full respray with skirts repaired new rear lights crystal 99 spec style! new smooth'd nose panel rear wiper delete new front bumper jap speed decats new digital dials on pillar mounts 18"autostrada monza alloy wheels i bought a year ago off a fellow member (before i bought the car which came with 17" versions of the same wheel lol) r…

When in the states i got this made at madame tussauds, Just wondering if anyone knows where to get them made in the uk like that for fairly cheap, this one got made in a machine and cost me $10. Could be a cool thing to have for the zed and be part of the club pack.

Mot for the SWB and it passed:dance: Took the showplates of this morning put the legal plates on checked all lights and drove to the MOT centre it was sunny and dry and the drive was soooo good the MOT examiner said it was the cleanest import he had seen so well pleased. Need more sunny dry weather I so miss driving this zed:cool:

Hi guys, i seem to remember seeing an instrument cluster for about £100 and another one for £20. I asked the question why and was told the answer. Trouble is now i've hit 50, my memory is shot to hell, So can some one tell me again. Cheers Rich

despite turning the air con up to 40, there is virtually no heat at all coming out, it makes all the blasting sound just no warm air. any idea?

i have just got some seats and as there wasnt eletric there origanly i was wondering were the wires would need to come from i also have the relays for the heater parts in the seats would they needseperate wires or not any help would be much appreciated cheers richard

Quick one - my zed is slipping the clutch in 5th at motorway cruising speeds, but the previous owner had the flywheel and clutch replaced less than 5k ago, so i dont think they're worn out - can the clutch just be adjusted better?

mornin all! yesterday both my electric seats packed up, ive not had a chance to have a look yet, but i was just wondering whats the first places to check? i mean first ill check the fuse (if i can find it) but after that im not sure where to be looking. any ideas? cheers

I have enough threads going already...but learning about the car so cant be helped. This is another quicky.... I read in another thread that import owners should have a certificate. Well, I don't have one. Do many others have a certificate, and does it really matter. I have the red V5 and my car was imported in 1990 if memory serves. As far as I know I'm legal. :shifty:

finally got round to changing the series 1 air con to series 2 today . i must say im pleased with the results and extra control it gives . the bit i like best is the windscreen aimed air via the economy button as opposed to having to use the air con to keep the windscreen demisted . that alone has gotta be worth an extra 1-2 mpg during the colder months and a few more available bhp. every little bit helps .

on start up i get a strong smell of fuel, cant see any leaks etc, could it be something to do with cold start
