I,ve been waiting for an E.L panel coming from china , turned up today so i,ve been playing ! lol I read this write up but didn,t fancy using an oven ! http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/illrp/illrp.html I used a couple of blow heaters to warm my centre panel after removing the brass pins , they,re not screws as mentioned in the write up , i then gently prised it apart. The inside black is very translucent so i scotchbrited it and used some satin black to paint it I used a 320 grit DA pad and sanded the paint off the letters which are raised and make it simple to do Once sanded hold it up to the light to see if it,s ok Now the E.…

Well I`ve been busy over crimbo getting my car sorted for next year, had lots of chroming and polishing done and done some myself, the plenum came back from the shop very poor so I `ve had to do it again and it still needs a lot of work yet, I was excited today so I put everything together for a trail fit to see what it`s gonna look like, hence these pics I`ve moulded black gloss perspex over the upper wheel arches and the slam panel for a fresh clean look I tried to be original with the colour scheme but its very hard to choose a nice colour that hasnt been done, so I`ve gone for a similar shade to Ant300zx`s work of art (my favorite on the club) Still lots to …

Anyone else gonna get something different for their next car? I plan to get something new in about a year and spend a fair bit on something thats already been built how i want it. Cant decide whether to go down the supra/skyline route with savage power, or a powerful evo for overall performance... I'm leaning towards evo's at the moment, seen some extremelly nice 6's with 500+ AWHP :)

Is there anywhere you can get a DIN pocket with flip lid to fit the zed? I want to get a boost controller (I'm thinking Apexi AVC-R Black Edition) and I dont want to mess around with the interior too much adding bits on here and there so was I thinking of fitting the boost controller into a DIN pocket but one with a flip lid so that I can pull the lid down when the car is parked. Any thoughts?

Hi, I've just realised that my Toad ultrasonic sensors have been pushed under the interior trim, one is pretty crushed the other has been ripped away from the wiring. Anyway, I figured I'd go to the breakers and find some nice ones; snip them and wire into my current wiring. My question is will this work, does anyone know anything about ultrasonic sensors, they're all pretty much all the same right?

Fitted a courtesy light on my SWB as only the LWB's have them  Just go on ebay and buy whichever takes your fancy, mine is here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FIAT-SEICENTO-INTERIOR-COURTESY-LIGHT-2001-2004-/190484028868?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c59bb9dc4 Wire it in to the relay behind the passenger seat, it will then come on and off when you open and close the boot as there is a switch incorporated in the boot lock mechanism. Don't forget a security measure also, as with the voltage drop if some loser opens the boot the alarm will trigger immediately. I might spray the surround of it black when it warms up  Anyw…
