Hi, My manifolds and turbos are ceramic coated to absorb the high temps. Do you think it will be a good idea to have the down pipes treated as well or just a waste of time? I did wrap them but by doing this it lead to fitting problems. What do you think guys?

I finaly got a quote to get rid of my grey tweed, its just the dash doors, centre and rear quarters (no seats) in red leather, he thinks about £750 all in, thinks it'll take 3 days, but he can't fit me in till the back end of Febuary. Seen as though i have never had a car retrimed before i have no idea if this is a reasonable price. so if anyone has had it done would you mind sharing prices? Chears.

Hi Guys All wiring of new electrical components now complete. just got the main task of installing and wiring the following :- 7" lilliput motorised in dash touchscreen monitor 1.5Ghz carputer Amp (yet to buy) I have purchased a complete Autoleads wiring pack. My first task is to get a power feed from the battery to the rear of the car. Wondering is it ok to track the thick (35 mm2) cable under the car, laying it in the brake pipe plastic tray? or should i lay it in the car. I have purchased a complete car Dynamat pack. Do i apply this before or after cabling? I was looking at buying a good 5 channel amp like below http://www.caraudiocentre.…

I've got my plenum off at the moment, just wondering what would happen if I was to cut and cap the EGR pipes that go to the plenum? (and put blanks on the plenum of course) The slenoid isn't plugged in, never has been, I'm planning on having a go at removing the EGR when I drop the gearbox to replace the crank oil seal (car will be on a lift, thinking it might be possible)... What do ya reckon?

  18. Help.... :D My Insurance is due very soon. I know insurance is always talked about but... I need a slightly different and more specialised insurance which i don't know where to start. I am currently with Adrian Flux but they wont cover me on track. So i need the usual Insurance for on the road for my car but an insurance company that also covers on the track, i know there are several out there but not sure who they are, they also need to cover modifications to the car. It's a UK car so doesnt need to be an import specialist.

I didnt realise this engine was used designed for indy car racing and was considered the best na nissan engine of all time and many thought should have been offered as a optional extra like many other motor factors do as a range of engines as if fitted would have destroyed all the competion ?

Got home and got straight into the Z,cracks up fine, then steadies as she warms up and then WALLOP! the misfire starts:pinch: I intended just cutting off the PTU plugs etc ready for Daz' series 2,then I here it, tick,tick,tick..... So off went the lights got my eyes used to the dark and enjoyed the fireworks! No'3 coil is fubar, sparking out the side,so off to the local Z spares (cheers AL) And back with a couple of Coilpacks.Sorted,so I thought.Better but not there, wiggled the siliconed on injector plugs (yes you read right) and it's all over the shop! pulled off three plugs and they are Green/fooked! Started up again and loads better!-but not right.....…
