I went for the manual conversion quite a while ago now but completely forgot to update my V5. Just reading up on the dvla portal and it doesn't specify that I need to update it for this change. Should I still update? Have others done this? did you have any problems??

PIC HEAVY! -- Hi guys, Would it be possible for my sprayer to fill this in exactly how I want without buying the rear tailgate spoiler with the ripple in (in other words the car.mad OEM spoiler has the mini spoiler still built in)... but I would like it totally flush. I knocked up a few designs of how I would like to see it in photoshop... Any ideas would be great. As it is now... What I would like to see... A FEW MORE DESIGNS, WOULDN'T MIND A POLL ON WHO LIKES WHAT, THEN WILL USE THE BEST ONE.... 1.) 2.) Without reflectors! - Think this looks way better, is it possible? 3.) 4.) …

I like to think i would be competent at putting it all on (id use contact adhesive rather than spray adhesive like it says) Cheers Mark

With the move looming up this Friday and 4 weeks left of having a garage to work in I've been pushing on to finish the engine off and get it running before I left. Unfortunately I've had a bit of bombshell which is going to stop the project for the foreseeable future and I can't warrant spending any more money or time on it for at least 6 months. When I originally bought the car and parts I was told the pistons were 30 thou over and that's the figure I've always had in my head. When we found the original block was duff a replacement was found by the previous owner and I was just told to take the piston to check clearance. At no point what i told the block …

Can anyone give me an idea of how much it would cost to have an OEM replacement spoiler professionally painted. It's been a long time since I had any work done, I'm guessing maybe £80, but could be totally wrong. I've painted and lacquered a spoiler in the past myself with good results, so considering doing it again. Alternatively any idea of the cost of having the original spoiler holes filled then the tail gate sprayed.

I've just picked up a set of Japspeed hard pipes to replace the standard rubber intake piping, I spent about an hour trying to fit them yesterday and cannot for the life of me get them on, they seem about 5mm too long. My current thinking is to try and shorten them a fraction, I'm just wondering if there's a reason I shouldn't do this? Or if anyone has another suggestion? Returning them isn't an option as I bought them second-hand (but unused) at a great price.

Hey folks im about to order some clear markers for my rear bumper from CZP if anyone would like me to get them some or any other small bits from CZP and could share the postage. I already have 2 people wanting some from elsewhere. Am only trying to help if the mods feel like deleting this thread not for personal gain. Here are the markers anyway they are $40 and CZP have said postage will be about $40 using USPS priority mail http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=205&Car_Type=300&UID=2011012400205494.195.172.103 Marty

Ok, quick bit of background. My headlights were re-wired by the previous owner, I'm not sure why, but I'm left with no fog lights or interior lights / boot light. I have no permanent (switched) main beam, it obviously isn't wired through the relay which does this. The original headlight wires have been snipped from the loom and 'hard wired' directly to the battery and a switch on the side of the light pod. One main beam is wired up, the other is not, no plug for the bulb, nothing... This is all something I can all sort out later, somehow. Today whilst stripping the centre console I noticed an earth not connected, so I connected it. This fixed the clock, bu…

Anyone else having fun in these icy conditions? had to drive back to my office late when the roads were quiet and very cold - have definitely noticed the lack of grip when summer tyres are really cold! Theres just one corner going onto the estate thats a lot of fun, sharp left turn then give a little bootful in second on the apex to have the back swing out a little, and a nice second gear roundabout - so far ive only had the car a few months and been taking it gingerly, but my first experience of a bit of power oversteer and it was alright, car didnt bite as much as i thought it might with so much torque and the power delivery of a turbo! probably helped by a long wh…
