hi,does anybody live in the woking area who can give me some tips on moving the throttle body to cure a fuel leak,this car is starting to do my head in lol,ill beg if need be.....cheers

Help.... :D My Insurance is due very soon. I know insurance is always talked about but... I need a slightly different and more specialised insurance which i don't know where to start. I am currently with Adrian Flux but they wont cover me on track. So i need the usual Insurance for on the road for my car but an insurance company that also covers on the track, i know there are several out there but not sure who they are, they also need to cover modifications to the car. It's a UK car so doesnt need to be an import specialist.

I didnt realise this engine was used designed for indy car racing and was considered the best na nissan engine of all time and many thought should have been offered as a optional extra like many other motor factors do as a range of engines as if fitted would have destroyed all the competion ?

Got home and got straight into the Z,cracks up fine,then steadies as she warms up and then WALLOP! the misfire starts:pinch: I intended just cutting off the PTU plugs etc ready for Daz' series 2,then I here it, tick,tick,tick..... So off went the lights got my eyes used to the dark and enjoyed the fireworks! No'3 coil is fubar,sparking out the side,so off to the local Z spares (cheers AL) And back with a couple of Coilpacks.Sorted,so I thought.Better but not there,wiggled the siliconed on injector plugs (yes you read right) and it's all over the shop!:thumbdown: pulled off three plugs and they are Green/fooked! Started up again and loads better!-but not right.....…

Am i right in thinking that there is only one plenum gasket under it in the middle and rubber re usable gaskets for the cam covers as i want to take it all apart and give it a fresh coat of paint. TIA Mark

With a bit of luck, my engine will be going back in next weekend. Whilst im doing this, i want the following. Spark plugs Oil filter (Might be easier to get these from car spares) I also need the turbo elbow gaskets, and The pivot ball for the gearbox. Im not 100% sure what this is, but my mate who is helping me, said i need one! Any advise is welcome. Cheers

Haha, it was about 8pm in mid december, i was going down the a40 towards hanger lane from staples corner, just passing the wembley exits. I was in the middle lane having a relaxing drive doing a steady 50mph on the dot. There was a car in front so i was just staying behind him with plenty of distance. A chav corsa was right up my arse from kingsbury all the way up to wembley, literally only 3 or 4 inches away from my back and the road was empty. Went off to local scappies to get a new ciggie lighter for my girlfriends micra. After robbing a like new one, having a nose around. At the back of the yard there was a ford maverick, look inside and hey presto both interior chrome door handles in perfect condition. even better some kind sole had removed the door panels. so 2 mins later and they are mine. go upto the pay kiosk, expecting to pay £20+, and the girl says call it a fiver. £5 for a complete pair of chrome handles in perfect conditon. Bargain. Now got to chat with them about a complete set of 350z brembos, front and back with pads and new disks of an 09 350z. are these a direct fit??

Anyone who has driven their zed and had some fun will have most likely not only been rewarded with a thrilling ride but also with that unmistakable odour of burning hot oil, either whilst driving or just after parking up. No really mystery that in most cases it leaking outer cam covers dropping oil from the rear corners onto the turbo`s or manifolds on non turbo`s. So stripping out the relevant parts to get to the pesky covers and re-seal them is fairly straight forward but its is essential to be clean and safe, keep all parts in order and cover all intake holes whilst the plenum is off so nothing can drop in there. Ok guyz.... please bare with me...... I have det above 16 PSI with all the upgrades internally and externally ( pls check my rides, as many things to list). I believe this is either fuel related or air related, after messaging JD. So...... Would this be something i require to eliminate det with the mods I have?? FPR is really not my tech thang....... Just fixed my zed and its now 100% since the blown plenum gasket i had; So, As you do i took her out for a spin 30 min ago; must say the power now was simple amazing and the roar from the engine was bliss ! been looking far a better deal on insurance for my zed its an na auto, but im still paying around the 450 mark with 15 years no claims ,been on a few classic sites but no joy,anyone point me in the right direction ..... thanks in advance

For some reason the perspex strip on my slickie has a kind of see through red tint to it and on the right you can see that underneath it says Z32 anyone ever known of a different perspex strip being made? Also anyone got one as there is a crack in the middle so im gonna renew it :) Marty

right to start off the heater matrix thati took out my z32 was a early z31 who ever done this replaced all the gubbins from the rad back iv just bought a matrix and the copper pipes n everything else(thanks to jeff for them).. heres the problem though under the dash there isnt a cable or the plate that the return spring attaches too..then i dont have the heater control box then on top of that the box that hold the heater is wrong.. im really pulling my hair out here.i need a solution for this coz it the only thin thats keeping her off the road my thought is bypassing the heater and buyin a cheep external heater.. till i can scrape money thegether till i can book…
