A surreal moment. Travelling from Swansea to Windsor in the ZX today indicate to pull out to overtake slower traffic and was kindly allowed to by a silver ZX travelling in convoy with a modified 350Z. It must have made quite a sight the three cars abreast along the M4. Made my day

Hi guys been quite a while as car has been off the road for a long time. Had it back two weeks ago. When I had her back the light showing the word "lights" was on in lower part of the dashboard and the power button would flash for a few seconds. I know the lights is for a bulb out and the power is for a fault. Took her out a few days ago and these lights weren't on. Tried the power and hold switch and nothing comes on the warning light part of the dash. Tried the O/D and this does come on tho. Wondered if anyone has any ideas as where too start looking to solve this?

Well after having had this Zed now for 6 years i thought id make a thread for it. kinda always seen it as a rough 300 especially compared to some of the stunners you guys have on here, I'm feeling my totally DIY car is finally pretty decent. From start to now im extremely proud even if it has taken 6 years  still have a picture from the Ebay listing where i got it

I've bought another Gloria for parts but the cambelt had slipped a tooth at idle. Is the engine a tolerance engine with clearance between the piston & valves or will it more than likely have bent a valve? What other damage could it have done?

Just checking my old records when I suddenly had a misfire. SVA did a compression test on my engine. 125 - 130 when my car was on 119k kms. I think that's pretty good at the time but I hadn't noticed! Z on 135k kms now! I think this equates to 2,500 miles a year.

Can anybody recommend a half decent car cover for a 300zx that has a good fit for the LWB? Having already blown cash on a 'fits-all' cover, to find an off the shelf one that doesn't blow off every other day would be a significant step forward.. :cursing:

I have the Nissan Gloria & I want to source parts to convert it to manual. I have the pedals & the clutch cylinder from my old skyline & from my old nissan 200sx. These are basically the same but I'm after all the mechanical parts. Can you guys recommend & breaker or a forum member that could help with the gearbox, prop, clutch etc? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Guys, I am searching for a set of LM reps for the Z and running into serious lack of availability for a staggered set in 19". So my thoughts are, do I get a set of 5x112 wheels and use wobble bolts or do I look for a set of 5x120 8.5 and 9.5j 19's and go for hub adaptors? If I go for the second route the minimum adaptor is 20mm, could I get away with that and if so what would the offset need to be to allow for the spacer? Hopefully someone will know how I can get around this wheel issue! Cheers guys!

Hi Everyone, Recently sold one of my cars. The new owner is wanting to get the car chipped and mapped to make the most of the modifications I did. The car had an engine rebuild, refurbished turbo's, aftermarket intercoolers & rad etc. It also had a Greddy Profec B plumbed in, but never setup. Does anyone have any recommendations of where he might take it? He's based in the Surrey area. Thanks

Hi guys I was chatting to Jim today at PowerZed and we got onto the subject of suspension. He told me that there was an option back in the day on UK models (and possibly US) to have electronically adjustable shocks. I’ve been surfing the net trying to find some more information but haven’t had much luck. So I was hoping that some of our more senior members might be able to tell me more about it, does anyone still have them on their car, where can you get the units etc... Cheers, Chris.

Hi all, Currently working in CA atm and have found a few good Zed owners out here. One has offered me a set of Godspeed side mounted Intercoolers. Q. Are they any good and are they a direct fit? Anyone got them on a zed here in the UK? Any help appreciated, as I think they will just fit in the suitcase if they are worth bringing home :) Greg

Can anyone tell me what the differential oil line running from the oil pump to the rear bumper and back to the cooler is actually for, is it for extra cooling or is it a buffer for extra oil, I mean the diff holds most of the oil and the cooler should be sufficient to cool the oil, I’ve tested the pump and it pumps like crazy so there should be enough flow. Reason I’m asking most of the lines are rusted and I thought maybe it would be possible to use a small catch can/overflow can instead of this oil line. Thanks Peter
