When I take the zed to a car wash, I keep getting wet lol. I've stuff the ends of the rubber trim down properly, checked the targa drains but the water still comes in down the edge of the window. I'm wondering, could the windows not be sitting against the rubber right for some reason? I doubt it matters but I don't have the top door catches on my zed. Any ideas on fixing it?

Ha, not that kind of paint. Normally I paint using oil but fancied a change and tried acrylic. The bike I painted for a mate. Excuse image quality as they were taken on my phone.

Well i have just been reading through vijay's thread (which is now closed) and I must admit I was very surprised it was zedworld you had the problem with. I have spoken to jeff on the phone a few times and he has always been very helpful and has given me free advice. There is generally never a bad word to say about the customer service at zedworld and most people post up how good and friendly the team at zedworld are. Because of these posts in the past by many happy customers im intending to get my car booked in with jeff to have a once over. I appriacte you have had a bad experance and can understand your fustration. Mods i really dont see why you close these…

I bought my TT Zed off a club member about 1 and half years ago and have enjoyed it almost daily. I have had the odd niggle but for a 21 year old car it has been great. It is quick but I would like to get a bit more reliable power out of it. This always happens with me and new cars! It has been modified a little (spec below) but I am after some advice as to how best to spend some cash on increasing the performance but maitaining the reliability? I understand that the skys the limit but I would probably be comfortable spending 2/3k.... Also what sort of power figures should I be getting at the moment? Its running about 1 bar pressure. ENGINE: K&N…

Hi Rob, Just spoke with Jimmer, think there is a prob with my Hicas. or something at the rear of the car. He advised a good option, would be to get you an experience TT owner, to take the car for a spin, and let me know if it is right or if something is defo wrong, before getting him down from Bristol to check it out. If you could get back to me, arrange something that would be highly appreciated. you can email me HERE Cheers Ryan

It was nearly six years ago that Yaseen brought me his damaged slicktop . After I stripped off everything he wanted I was left with a damaged rolling shell. Today I took it for an MOT and got a first time pass.:thumbup1: Just need to get insurance transferred to it and tax it for June 1st. Its still a work in progress with lots to do. Might have a run to JapShow at Santa Pod.

I origninaly had a uk spec manual TT which was awesome until it had engine troubles and welding troubles and every other sort of troubles so I got rid for a jap spec auto TT at the end of last year. I've been driving it around but I missed the manual the auto just did too much for me and apart from the kick down was a bit boring, I almost looked at selling and waiting until a decent manual came up. Last week however Lee dent spent a few days on it doing the manual conversion which I had kept from the old zed and fixing a few other problems and sorting out my timing which had been dangerously way out since I got it! 6 degrees out! Could have been an ouch! N…

Anyone know where I can find this info? Used search feature but nothing :( Im sure I saw it somewhere, Ideally, would like to work out the date of manufacturer as DVLA say its first registered Feb 1990 and one owner from new, however Masayuki insists its a 1993 as he bought it new himself in Tokyo in the March of 1993. Thanks in advance.
