Iv have a scorpion quad exit system on my zed, now only just got it on the road but this g/f really doesn't like it. Seems to think it's too noisy when cruising, tbf it aint quiet. Is there any exhaust out there that are quiet when cruising but releases the grunt when pressing the loud pedal? Strange thing is i had a scorpion system on my old golf vr6 which was perfect. im looking for new front and rear brake discs for my 89 n/a. im not sure on the size though, will 280mm x 30mm fit??

Just finished stripping down my spare set of front brake callipers ready to fit new seals etc' Can anyone tell me if the seals for the main pistons can go in either way up or are the supposed to fit a certain way? IE directional relative to pressure side. I assumed on my first refurb that they could go either way up, but I am beginning to doubt myself now.

Would a wheel with this pattern fit by any chance? Just clutching at straws really

I've recently fitted an uprated Stillen rear anti roll bar and a set of rear sub frame aluminum bush collars (the ones that compress the rubber bushes) both at the same time. Has anyone fitted either of theses before and got a really load creaking noise? If so,what's the cure? Thanks in advance, Andy

At last i got new lights new centre panel and crystal rears ,,esay job until i had to remove the black sealant took me over an hour was happy to find no rust at all and it cleaned up like new[/img] [/img] [/img][/img]

Anybody point me n the right direction please. Ive bought some clear indicators but the sidelight holder is smaller than the one currently on the car. Anybody know where I can buy them or what I should be searching for? Im having a bit of trouble matching them up.. Cheers

Hi Guys, I seem to remember someone mentioning that their mate was an upholsterer and was really good, I need some Recaro zed seats (just 2) covering in leather and I`m getting some silly prices at the moment, if he`s good and up for it i would like some kind-a price, CheerZ Daz.

This is a call for help to anyone in the Ayrshire area that's got a blow torch. I undertook a Hicas bypass and the ball joints are totally stuck. Been whacking it with a hammer for hours and it's barely moved a mm. Anyone local who has or knows of someone who can help heat this fooker up would be great. Cheers Lee

Well it turns our my furry green injector connections have been my problem and this morning i actually finished getting the putting it back together. It drives again now. No more hesitation it now actually boosts fully without feeling like its running out of fuel. Still a slight air leak problem to find but at least now it goes and goes well :w00t:

My Zed is finally back on the road and ready for the summer! See this ,this and this for background... Long story short Zedworld have fitted a new engine and my Zed is running better than it has in a very long time and will hopefully be good for a long time yet! Top work from Jeff and Jamie; They kept me in the loop about what options were available and I always got the feeling they were trying to help me get my car back on the road rather than sell me a new engine! Overall I'm very pleased with the outcome. Obviously I'd rather not have any of this happen in the first place but I knew the reality before I bought the car and went in eyes wide open... As the title suggests, does one type of plenum fit all models? jap, uk, TT, Na, Manual, Auto, LWB, SWB?

can an air leak cause consult to flag up an 02 sensor? borrowed consult off work and driving along it falgs up intermitently with a 02 error (S1?) checked the wires and conectors all good, i know i've got a few major leaks as z1 didn't deliver ,my silcon in time so its got the old craked pipes on at the mo... any one got any thought?

My Garage have searched everwhere for this part which they cannot locate except from Nissan I won't tell you the price!!!!!!! Does any one know ( I haven't seen the part) can you press out the bushes and replace them. Thanks for anyone who can assist. Brian:surrender::surrender:

The horn on my black shorty has been bodged so just trying to sort it. Where does the circuit wires run as at current im getting nothing down at the horns and the yellow wire going into the steering wheel has nothing either. A bit of help on tracing the path would be nice if someone knows the circuit :) Cheers Marty

seeing as the UK zeds were stopped in late 94, im trying to see has the latest UK zed, ive compared mine to Sonic's chassis number and there is about 150 difference. what i want to see is the chassis number, not the whole thing but the last 5 digits Mine is registered 5/8/94 geniuine Uk manual zed, vin starting in Jn ending in 0010948 anyone else newer on a UK spec zed, stu

It only started yesterday, at about 2k-2.5k revs i get a big flat spot/holding back effect, almost like fuel starvation. Over 2.5k and under 2k revs its fine. Before i rig up datascan has anyone had a similar experience? i might even have a fault on injector 1, which may just be the plug/loom to that injector, which is affecting the revs. Idles a little lumpy and getting smoke when i boot it. All seem to be linked to a dodgy maf as a wrong air reading will also cause the above, so might be looking for another maf, but seriously thinking about a brand new one as im on my second maf in 5years. bought some brand new belts for my zed once id fitted the AMS pulleys, and have just realized they are now the wrong size...?? does anyone know which belts i need? (only pas and water pump belts)

Ok, guys with custom builds is it a necessary thing to monitor? Assuming if it is, then do you need 2 gauges 1 for each bank? seem like the dash could get a bit cramped, already have Oil pressure, Ol Temp, Boost ....looking at adding AFR, Temp and maybe EGT :blink: advice appreciated
