So what's happening with this dibs in selling parts? As I called dibs and it got ignored and a mod bought the parts. Does this not stand anymore? Just so I know for next time when dibs are called ill just ignore and proceed to buy even if he or she is online to close the deal. I was waiting for a price so could not close the deal so called dibs.

I'm looking to buy a set of 19s, importing from Japan. Its pretty important i get the size spot on. So i reckon 8.5" up front. Will 10" be ok at the rear without major work? Bolt pattern 5x 114.3 So, what offset should i go for?

Hi bud, Am i right in thinking you have used JapanDyno to import wheels etc?? I've only recently realised how many bits and bobs are over there lol. I've always been put off by the language barrier. Anyhoos, there are a few things i'm after including a new set of rims. Would you recommend him. We've sent a few emails back and forth and he seems like a nice fella. Just looking for some reassurance before forking out a couple k for some wheels - i know the experience you have had with the RX7 Thanks

i know my cherry red zed never did this, so wondering if this is because timing or something, but noticed when i accelerate, get to speed, if i come off the gas, the car kinda quitly pops and gurgles like you hear race cars do, if i coast in gear with foot off the clutch like im letting the engine slow the car, it does it but feels like the car is trying to "bunny hop" (like when a new driver doesnt quite pull off right). not sure im explaining this correctly, if i hold the throttle at the speed i want, it doesnt happen, if i floor it, i have to hold on, so its definitely not down on power, im just wonder if this is "pinging" that i hear about, but cant seem to find…

the last couple of times ive been out, the speedo has dropped to zero for about 10 minutes then come back. this latest time, the hicas warning light also came on. Not the best when you're trundling up the motorway! hicas light went out when i turned the ignition on and off. So! are these related? anything to worry about? coupled to the fact my central locking and parking sensors are duff and i keep getting dripped on, my niggle list is growing

Changed my brake discs today and dispite finding I had bought the wrong pads, I saw the pass side front tyre was badly worn on the inside edge. I have been waiting for an excuse to get some Eagles on the front but obviously the tracking needs setting to. The car is lowered on Teins and has 18inch wheels. Can anyone tell me the optimum settings to tell my garage? Toe in, out, camber, caster? I have a fully adjustable set up. Thanks in advance!

Hi all, Ive got a leak on my drivers targa, nothing strange there you say. Ive followed Jeffs write up in the FAQ section and it still leaks. Ive taken a couple of pics to show where the water is getting in, could the targa seal be goosed? Cheers, Rob Not the best pic, the targa is to the top of the pic.

Just got the car towed back to mine (glad its a manual now lol), was driving along, big pop out of the rear of the exhaust as the electrics died, had absolutely no power at the side of the road so couldn't even stick me hazards on. Anyway get it home, playing with the positive battery terminal, seems someone who owned the car had extended the wire at some point and this seems to of worked its self loose, most likely when i was doing the gearbox, joining it back up correctly gives me lights to the dash but the car wont crank now. there is no noise at the starter motor, no clicking or anything. ive checked all fuses in the engine bay and they are all ok any one g…

Well, what can i say, apart from stalling it once LOL (new that was coming), pulling over into sainsbury's car park to watch the oil burn off the gearbox and what ever else i managed to get caked in gearbox oil and set the timing as i didnt do the neutral switch bypass. Once that was all sorted, and still stinking a bit from the gearbox oil being burnt off. i thought id give her a try in a nice large empty carpark, holy poop, haven't felt that kinda power since my cherry red zed, the gears are nice and clunky and the box sounds like its been stolen from a british touring car for some reason lol, ooh and i get a nice little burble when lifting of the gas. temps are a…
